10/10This was one of the best meals I’ve had in my life. Service at this small, intimate restaurant was outstanding. My wife and I shared the seafood appetizer of the day to start, including the steamed mussels with Gorgonzola. My wife said, “That may have been the best dish I have ever eaten.”

6/10Amazing Antipasto. Good wine priced fairly for Ortigia. Main was a Mussels Carbonara with 5 or 6 very tiny mussels. Pasta cooked well but fish content almost zero.. Super annoying when locals enjoying large plates of Moule which were not on the menu presented to us. Both dishes not warm. Disappointing for 94 Euros for 2 really.

10/10Friendly helpful staff. Great good; best we’d had in almost 4 weeks of travelling. Waitress helped pick a wine and it was a great choice. Lovely setting and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this quaint restaurant to anyone visiting Ortigia.

6.5/10A bit overpriced and overhyped. What you get on the plate keeps you wondering, if they actually used the ingredients you expected. Tuna was not really my thing, a bit too raw and unfortunately doesn't develop the tuna taste. More like tuna granita.

10/10The outside and inside area of the small restaurant is simply and lovingly furnished and decorated. The boss warmly welcomes all guests and introduces the daily specials. The wine selection is regional and diverse! The dishes are beautifully presented and taste great! I recommend the small and beautiful Locanda Maniace to every visitor to Ortigia.

10/10We have been in Italy a little less than three weeks now, and this meal by far has been our best, and it cost far less than we thought it might. Flavors were amazing and service was kind and considerate. Our server, who spoke perfect English, made great suggestions.

9.5/10We (group of 4) liked this off the beaten path restaurant. The special of the day was tuna - quite nicely done. Portions are not huge - a side might be considered. We had a good inexpensive wine as recommended by the server. Prices are right.

10/10Best meal in Italy so far. Dishes are small but the materials a+ The seared tuna was tasty, tender and simply the best piece of tuna I’ve had. The filletto de manzo (from Sicily) was tender and tasty, the mushrooms yummy. One of the best wine menus with some of the top Sicilian wines. I was joined by my 2 sons of 8 and 10 years of age. We waiter was great fun and joked with my children. This is fine dining quality in a relaxed setting at affordable prices. What’s not to like.

10/10Wonderful restaurant with Sicilian dishes presented in a modern way! We had the black spaghetti and the daily dish: grilled tuna. Highly recommend to try the dessert as well! Best food for a very reasonable price and less touristic than others in the area. Service was great and communication in English super easy!

9/10We had a reservation for 2, arrived half an hour earlier because of rain and were seated right away. Hostess was very pleasant and nice. Lovely atmosphere and decoration. Ravioli ala norma were very good, fusili casa e pepe were ok. Special of the day, a smoked grilled tuna-resembling fish with burata cheese was a beautiful dish and we both found it good. Deconstructed Canolo was also good.
