Wonderful food and service. The flavors of every ingredient were amazing. A small tiny place with a big burst of deliciousness

Roberto and Andrea's small Italian restaurant is quaint and it feels like you are in their kitchen. Just the two of them. They greet you, take your order, make the dishes, and deliver it to your table. Special tweaks to the orders are welcome! They want to make sure you enjoy your experience. Prices are great! It's also one of the few restaurants you can eat at early. Most Poggibonsi restaurants open at 7 :30 p.m., some at 7. :00 p.m. Lokal is open after 3:00 p.m. so we able to enjoy a dinner at 6:30 p.m.

The server was very friendly despite not being able to speak English - we felt very welcome nonetheless. The food was good. We had the vegetarian antipasto which was tasty and pasta which left us a bit disappointed. Good place, in a deli type of setting, but the rating definitely created much higher expectations. We would recommend it, but we have been to a few other places in Tuscany where the quality of the food better reflected the rating.

We fell in love with this restaurant. Everything was perfect and the service was impecable. The owners are also such a lovely people.
