8.5/10The food and options at Long Pura are incredible, including the decor and ambiance. Everything is flavorful and delicious. I recommend the Chefs Royal rijsttafel. The only thing that could use improving is the wine. Just order a bottle if you want a decent glass of wine. Service is also very nice, Descriptive and helpful staff, though on a busy Saturday night we were crammed in and it was exceptionally noisy. That was a little harder for the older ones in our group. Overall still our favorite Indonesian resto, time after time .

7/10The restaurant is quite big and stretched so it’s not very cosy, the food was ok but not the best Indonesian food I have experienced, I think they could improve the saté sauce especially. The dish with aubergine was very good. We were a little short on white rice and were charged for the extra rice which surprised me as the rice was just not enough for 3 ppl. The service was friendly. We booked quite last minute and were pleased they had space.

5.5/10Our visit started badly. There was no one at door and we walked towards a desk where staff were gathered. We were then shouted at proudly by a lady in green and made to feel very unwanted. Service thereafter was patchy though a young man worked hard to make things better. Food was ok but I’ve eaten far better. Best avoided

Absolutely loved our dinner. We’ve never had the opportunity to have a “rice table” and were so happy that we had friends on a tour recommend. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food was delicious!

Food was outstanding, every dish was delicious and balanced, and not too spicy. The serving team is nice, but understaffed and don’t write things down so we had to remind them several times eg of drinks orders. The place was packed and very loud - doing something to reduce noise levels would help allow more of a conversation. But the food was the star - pure delight.

6.5/10Menus were delivered when requested, not when seated. Drink orders were taken and delivered timely. Food orders . . . one guest received her meal promptly, in good order, within 20 minutes of ordering. After long waits, and three requests for the other three orders, those were delivered an hour and a half after arriving. We skipped the included dessert, paid and left.

3/10Terrible service. It took the restaurant 2 hours to serve our food and they didn’t even care to explain, apologize or serve any courtesy snack! The restaurant does not have the capacity to properly serve the amount of people they are aiming to, nor do they care.

Long Pura was a delight. The service is welcoming and friendly. We had tasty cocktails, and ordered the Chefs Rijst Tafel for three. We were beyond impressed. The first thing to arrive was a huge tray of warm appetizers, hard to say which was my favorite. Everything is served on candlelit heating trays and keeps the food warm, it’s easy to share everything and fun to remark on your favorites together, we could have had the check after the appetizers but atleast twelve more little dishes all containing delicious different flavors arrived with a beautiful banana leaf wrapped packet of steaming rice. We felt like we had an experience! One of a kind and absolutely delicious. Even choosing the most expensive Rijst Tafel option we walked away feeling like we beyond got our moneys worth. Fabulous.

7.5/10Food was good, But “mild” Rijsttafel was for some of my guests still to hot. On the other hand the airco was way to cold for my guests so they put their coats back on. All in all… next… probably not…

7/10Let's start by saying that the food was VERY good. We wish we could give Long Pura a higher mark, but they were honestly overwhelmed when we entered the restaurant. Three couples were waiting, but we were the only ones with a reservation, but still were forgotten, unseated, until we had to make a scene. we were ten apologized to and received a bottle of prosecco as a compensation, The staff, however, were harried off their feet and continued with bringing us the wrong soup, and ruining around literally flailing. We saw endless dirty dishes dishes piling up as the kitchen was evidently beyond capacity. Maybe they were understaffed that night, and we did not regret coming as , as I said, the Risetafl was excellent. I hope this is a one time problem, and I will go back the next time we return to Amsterdam

10/10Chefs rice table is a must. If you're feeling hangry (angry cos you're hungry) I'd go for the most costly one. It's worth every penny. All the skewers are finger lickin good. Main dish are amazing too. And the coconut ice cream for desserts ???? But the most memorable is the service. Bye bye. P.s don't forget to tip, and be kind. It's free to be kind hehe.

8/10The restaurant was totally overbook on a Saturday evening (they don’t seem to be very organised), but after some waiting they managed to get us a table. The food was ok, but no more. The highlight was the kind and helpful staff, who somehow managed to deal with the mayhem. Quite an experience. Wonderful people.
