9.5/10The food and views were the best we’ve experienced from a Michelin. What let it down is that they were not able to serve the same wine and beer that we had from their bar, only moments before the restaurant meal… bonkers. Furthermore, my chair was knocked by the waiter just about every time that he attended the table next to us. Also took an age to get the bill, which was a problem for my waiting driver (service took over three hours- could have been a little quicker)

Amazing dining experience from the minute we arrived. We got there early, they escorted us to a nearby bar, where we received complimentary prosecco and snacks. Once it was time, we sat down at our table with the most amazing view, and began the best dining experience ever.

Superb , memorable , exquisite -every detail was pure perfection . We were blessed to have experienced all that Lorelei offers . The unique elements of this restaurant are to be commended along with the team they have created who obviously love delivering the best experience to their guests . 10/10FLAWLESS, and gorgeous. The most memorable meal we had during our vacation on the Sorrento peninsula. The Michelin star is well-earned, and in my humble opinion, it deserves two.

Stayed at the hotel when visiting my daughter in Sorrento. Every course was fantastic, the service was great and the coursing was well-timed. A beautiful wine list & olive oil list as well. There were also some wonderful touches throughout the evening that I’ll keep to myself as not to spoil it for those visiting!

7/10I can say two things, the food was very good and worth it, but I'm very disappointed from the service because of two things: first I made a special request for a table on the terrace, but nobody carried to inform me in advance that it is only for inside, even when we arrived nobody mention it! This one was not a big deal, but when you are spending a lot of money and sitting in a room with other people which are being taken for a tour and you were just forgotten makes really BAD impression! The atmosphere inside is boring and sterile.

10/10Absolutely outstanding! Food was delicious and the presentation was well thought out. Service was impeccable as you would expect, but not stuffy. We would definitely go back when visiting Sorrento in the future.

10/10Before coming to Lorelei, I had been to a 1 star (Denver) and 3 star (Chicago). Lorelei far exceeded my 1 star expectations! The ambiance, service, flavors, presentation — every part of the experience was delightful! The staff was attentive but not annoying or pretentious, and the courses were lovely and filling. The terrace was closed for my visit, so I guess I’ll just have to go back :) Do yourself a favor, go to Lorelei!

the food is absolutely delicious. we had such a wonderful time. the wine pairings were superb and the service outstanding. of all the Michelin star meals we've had nothing can compare to the views and location here. thank you for a wonderful time!

9.5/10We took the a la carte menu. The amberjack was a masterpiece, the dumplings were also very delicious. Honestly, the octopus didn’t match my taste but it is very individual. The place has very large wine selection at good prices. My recommendation would be to watch closer the dress code and not let men with shorts. It spoils the nice ambience of the place.

10/10Not only is the location perfect the whole dining experience matched it. What a wonderful restaurant in Sorrento. From the moment you arrive you feel special and that continues throughout the evening. The “little” extra dishes were delicious along with the amazing food and wine. Highly recommend this fabulous restaurant.

+611/10 night at Lorelei, for a very special occasion for me and my wife - just married less than a week ago! The food, drink, service, views and ambience were all absolutely superb. A very impressive restaurant, well worthy of the Michelin star. Thank you again for going to extra mile to give us a such a great table and make us feel special throughout the evening. Food lovely but attentiveness for replacing drinks was a little slow and when we first arrived and were sent to the terrace for drinks the waiter told us we couldn’t sit in two tables of two facing the sea we had to sit at a high table which isn’t good if your shirt so we ignored him and sat down then he ignored us so we didn’t get a drink! Not a good welcome ! Also sommelier was told not to advise Chardonnay and yet brought exactly that to the table ? Disappointed in the wine….

10/10Beautiful place, open patio with ocean views. Food was beautiful visually and absolutely delicious- very special dining experience. Extensive wine list, staff warm and welcoming- provided great service. We dined at several Michelin starred restaurants during our visit to Italy and this was our favorite experience!!!

One point however a quick explanation at the start of the evening how the "testing menu" and evening would operate would be helpful particularly for people experiencing this type of dining for the first time.

10/10We splurged and did the 8 course tasting menu with wine pairings while watching the sun set over the sea. Worth every penny. So creative, interesting and full of amazing, sometimes unusual mixtures of flavors. The wines were all excellent. The waitstaff was superb. Just an amazing experience.

8/10The food was very good, but the service so slow as to make it not as enjoyable as it could have been. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairings and it took over 30 minutes for us to get the amuse bouche and we had to ask for the wine pairings to start. The service was truly disappointing for a restaurant of this caliber. The view was terrific, but the service was flawed. I am afraid we could not recommend the restaurant to others at this point.

+2The view was amazing but they prioritize reservations made months in advance so keep that in mind if you want a table with an unobstructed view. Waitstaff were polite and knowledgeable, the food was disappointing for the price point. Some of the menu items tasted fishy, sorrento is known for fresh fish so that was disappointing. Overall had high expectations and left disappointed we spent so much money on food that wasn’t spectacular.

6/10Unfortunately we were in Capri and our ferry was very late coming back to Sorrento and the weather was choppy so we were going to be late and tried to cancel. We were told no that they would charge our cc. Unfortunately we went to the restaurant with a sour taste due to this. I understand having a policy but there should be exceptions due to uncontrollable circumstances. The view was beautiful but the food was just okay. Expected a lot more from a Michelin star.

9.5/10Lovely location to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. I’m a vegetarian and my husband is not. Both of us had the preset menu one vegetarian option the other included meat and seafood with wine option~800 euro. The staff had to take my food back on multiple occasions since they presented meat. Our meals were delicious. We were disappointed that they didn’t even acknowledge our actual wedding anniversary date at check-in or during the entire meal. There was a lot of confusion amongst the staff for example we were asked what we wanted to order but no one had brought us a menu.

10/10We had a wonderful evening at Lorelei. The staff was warm, attentive and provided excellent service. The food was delicious and each dish was meticulously plated. The restaurant is located at the edge of a cliff with an amazing view of the ocean and marina. We would definitely dine here again.
