The presentation of the T-bone steak served Florentine style made for a unique and delicious experience. The service was excellent and catered to all of our questions and requests.

Food wasn’t that great to be honest. It was rather bland. Portions were decent and service was okay but there were lots of people and kept waiter distracted. Would rather pay more for better tasting food.

Christmas dinner and the joint was hopping. Very busy but still very good ambiance, good food and service. If we lived here this would be one of our local places.

Pizza was perfect. Service super. Wine was not cold enough. T-bone was not served as requested and the meat was not good enough. Inside was really smoky and the atmosphere was ruined.

We enjoyed it. Descent pizza we had but not to the same level as some other restaurants we visited whilst there. The other restaurants were more expensive though and the service here was great.

Our waiter Kelley made the meal extra special. The food is amazing, especially if you are gluten free, but the service is what sets this restaurant apart. It was our favorite meal in Italy!

I arrived a good 10 minutes late on a busy Saturday evening and there were no complaints from the staff, who immediately brought a bowl of water for my dog. The menu has a wide choice of gluten free food, so my son who is celiac could eat safely whatever he wanted. Service is quick without being pressing despite two undecided children.

From the moment we entered the restaurant it was obvious how special it was. The staff were amazing to match the food. Both my daughter and I being coeliacs often struggle to find anything on a menu. However LDM’s menu was phenomenal. We had pizza which did not disappoint. All the reviews about how good this place is are true. Our server Maria went above and beyond. Fabulous experience from beginning to end.

Full menu avaliable as gluten free is amazing. Raviolis and tiramisu gluten free were the best ones I tasted ever. Great staff. We loved it!

Right from approaching the restaurant to paying the bill and leaving, the staff were fantastic. A real pleasure to find a ‘real’ restaurant in this beautiful city. Will definitely recommend and re-visit in the future. Bravo 👏 👏👏

Ordered a salad and pasta. They were fine. Mid. No wow factor but they weren’t bad either. If I lived in Florence I wouldn’t come back as a regular.

it was refreshingly cool on a hot night. however, we were sorry to see the portions had shrunk and the atmosphere less relaxed and familiar.

First night in Florence and decided to eat close by our hotel. Booked a table for 6 and was warmly welcomed. The steak was amazing. It was so cool watching the staff bring out the T-bone on the sizzle plate and cut it up in front of you. Highly recommend the experience

This was a good place but unfortunately our server forgot 3/10 of our meals. After we asked and then when they arrived the steak wasn’t cooked how it was requested originally and we ended up having to cook it ourselves on a hot plate. After that everything seemed to be a problem when we asked for something and the server rolled his eyes. They then sent a random guy to our table trying to make us buy roses of him.
Lorenzo de' MediciI'm sorry about what happened but I wanted to specify that we serve the steak rare as per Florentine tradition and we bring the hot cast iron plate for customers who want it more cooked, furthermore we don't send anyone to the table to sell the roses, they are the ones who go around all the restaurants in the center trying to sell them. If the waiter then forgot the dishes I'm sorry and I will find out what happened, the important thing is that he was polite to you. I thank you for the review because it helps us improve. The service was excellant. We ordered the Florentine Steak and werw not disappointed. I would recommend this restaurant as 10/10!

Excellent date night spot. Florentine steak was excellent and my wife had the eggplant parmigiana and it was wonderful. Not breaded and very light and delicious. Overall we had a great meal and very reasonably priced, much like most of Florence.

Very disappointing meal overall. We made a reservation, but were immediately shepherded to a table without checking a name. My beer was badly poured and the glass wasn't completely filled. We had to wait an hour for our starters (a simple bruschetta and cheese board). After calling over a waiter, he seemed to be unaware that we hadn't gotten our starters yet. Of our main dishes, the pizza was OK, but the Florentine steak was below par. I asked for medium rare, but got a steak that was one part well done, the other well done. The taste, underwhelming. I had high expectations after reading the good reviews, but this has so far been my list disappointing dinner experience in Florence.

Truly amazing! Best food in Italy so far! Osso buco , ravioli Bolognese truly out of this world!
