10/10From the moment we entered the restaurant it was obvious how special it was. The staff were amazing to match the food. Both my daughter and I being coeliacs often struggle to find anything on a menu. However LDM’s menu was phenomenal. We had pizza which did not disappoint. All the reviews about how good this place is are true. Our server Maria went above and beyond. Fabulous experience from beginning to end.

10/10Full menu avaliable as gluten free is amazing. Raviolis and tiramisu gluten free were the best ones I tasted ever. Great staff. We loved it!

10/10Right from approaching the restaurant to paying the bill and leaving, the staff were fantastic. A real pleasure to find a ‘real’ restaurant in this beautiful city. Will definitely recommend and re-visit in the future. Bravo 👏 👏👏

7/10Ordered a salad and pasta. They were fine. Mid. No wow factor but they weren’t bad either. If I lived in Florence I wouldn’t come back as a regular.

6.5/10it was refreshingly cool on a hot night. however, we were sorry to see the portions had shrunk and the atmosphere less relaxed and familiar.

9.5/10First night in Florence and decided to eat close by our hotel. Booked a table for 6 and was warmly welcomed. The steak was amazing. It was so cool watching the staff bring out the T-bone on the sizzle plate and cut it up in front of you. Highly recommend the experience

6/10This was a good place but unfortunately our server forgot 3/10 of our meals. After we asked and then when they arrived the steak wasn’t cooked how it was requested originally and we ended up having to cook it ourselves on a hot plate. After that everything seemed to be a problem when we asked for something and the server rolled his eyes. They then sent a random guy to our table trying to make us buy roses of him.

I'm sorry about what happened but I wanted to specify that we serve the steak rare as per Florentine tradition and we bring the hot cast iron plate for customers who want it more cooked, furthermore we don't send anyone to the table to sell the roses, they are the ones who go around all the restaurants in the center trying to sell them. If the waiter then forgot the dishes I'm sorry and I will find out what happened, the important thing is that he was polite to you. I thank you for the review because it helps us improve. 10/10Excellent date night spot. Florentine steak was excellent and my wife had the eggplant parmigiana and it was wonderful. Not breaded and very light and delicious. Overall we had a great meal and very reasonably priced, much like most of Florence.

4/10Very disappointing meal overall. We made a reservation, but were immediately shepherded to a table without checking a name. My beer was badly poured and the glass wasn't completely filled. We had to wait an hour for our starters (a simple bruschetta and cheese board). After calling over a waiter, he seemed to be unaware that we hadn't gotten our starters yet. Of our main dishes, the pizza was OK, but the Florentine steak was below par. I asked for medium rare, but got a steak that was one part well done, the other well done. The taste, underwhelming. I had high expectations after reading the good reviews, but this has so far been my list disappointing dinner experience in Florence.

10/10I went with my wife. We ahd a every good experience. Our waiter, I can't remember his name...an older gentleman, was hilarious and worth the visit. It was convenient, energetic, and clean.

7/10My Airbnb owner recommended this place, so I had high hopes. My prosciutto and melon was very good, but the ossobucco was incredibly, almost comically, tough. Like I couldn’t cut it with a serrated knife, at all. I complained, and there was no problem replacing it with something else. But that of course entailed ordering something new, waiting for it to arrive, etc. I was eating on my own, so it made a solitary meal even longer and lonelier. The replacement steak was fine, the tiramisu afterwards a little generic. But that ossobuco!

8/10They place is very rustic and the food was good.. they had a good variety from all the other places which was good. The pizza was runny in sauce pink in fact but we have notice that several places in Florence the pizza is like that compared to Sorreto and Positano those pizzas were amazing. As far as the service it was slow even to get the check.

10/10We are here twice. Both with reservations but they were sitting many people without. The second time at least 3 different individuals recognized us upon arriving or came by to say ciao. First visit I had a perfectly cooked fillet and second time I had the best gluten free pasta with wild boar of our entire 30 days in Italy. My wife had a gluten free ravioli with truffle cream sauce which melted in your mouth. Don’t hesitate to eat here. Just down from the Medici Chapel. Almost the entire menu is gluten free for those of us celiac or gluten intolerant

8.5/10We were really skeptical about going out since this pandemic started, but the place is actually really huge so the 1 meter distance is respected. The staff are really nice and friendly and the food is good. Beware of the table charge (2€ per person). Pizzas are realy good and tasty

10/10A surprise warm welcoming from the owner, head of restaurant and all staff, generous final offer liqueur from the house and good discount. Alessio our waiter really polite and educate under all aspect, nice choice of food and wine, atmosphere perfect with style and a touch of past charme. A beautiful surprise difficult to find in the mass of restaurant, the uniform of the staff, simple with a high level style, design and material and the logo on it (logo not simple printed) .

9/10The restaurant was very nice and clean everyone who served us was nice and helpful, but service was very slow. It took over 45 minutes to get our food. This was 45 minutes after we finished our first course. There was also some confusion regarding our reservation. The food was good and the gluten free pizza crust was one of the better ones I have eaten . The gfree bread was dry and we did not receive vinegar and oil for our bread like the other tables

10/10No separate gluten free menu but essentially said they could do most of the menu gluten free. Absolutely go there if you want a florentine steak. The prices are great. My fiancé said it was the best steak he’s ever eaten and my beef fillet was one of the best as well. Would highly reccomend.

10/10Beautiful food in a lovely setting and all gluten free! The staff were perfect; not intrusive but made sure everything was OK. Would go back in a heatbeat.
