9/10The service was exceptional, really VIP. Also: we were among the first guests. The food is quite innovative, but is very much still grounded in Portuguese love for fresh and good primary ingredients. Everything is quite subtle: you need to concentrate on eating, and focus the conversation on the food and nothing else. For this purpose I found the music a bit too load.

10/10Highly recommended. We have been in Lota - Sea & Fire three times with different groups of friends. We have practically tried and shared the whole menu and everything was delicious, both food and wine. The staff was friendly and easy going. We had an impression that they enjoy what they are doing.

10/10Mackerel and amberjack starters are just incredible. Cuttlefish with black rice was excellent. Memorable deserts. Everything is perfectly fresh and prepared. Service could not be better. Truly wonderful lunch.

3/10This restaurant was recommended by my Lisboa friend. I didn't expect that their service was seriously this bad. Maybe they treat differently to international people. It took over 15 minutes to they brought menu papers to us and didn't give us time to order the wines. I wouldn't go back there again or recommend it to others. There are plenty of good and cute restaurants but not here.

8/10To start, my husband loved his Pisco cocktail. We had excellent, attentive service from this one ebullient, upbeat waitress who clearly loves her job! I'm sorry I did not get her name, but she is unmatched by her obvious positive, fun attitude. She steered us to tasty starters (baby squid, smoked eel), a grilled fresh fish main dish, and a to-die-for cheesecake by their chef. We really enjoyed our last night in Lisbon with this wonderful seafood restaurant and a waitress with the best attitude ever. Only disappointment was the too-loud techno type of music, which did nothing to elevate the dining experience.

10/10We had such an amazing black mouth fish here! It was a light and buttery white fish. We were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and our server, Caroline, made us feel so special. We were so grateful for this experience and for all the hospitality from the entire staff!

10/10The staff was very friendly and attentive. The starter wasn't to my liking (too salty) but the main course and dessert were great. Regardless of the weather, I'd recommend indoor seating area for more cosiness. The interior design is really beautiful.

10/10The food, drink and service was all outstanding. The portions are small, which is clear on the menu (and re-enforced by the servers), but that works to your advantage so you can try many dishes. Not a bite was less than great! Looking forward to next time.
