Lovely ambiance and attentive and friendly staff. The location is great and the food wonderful. Robust wine selection that is reasonably priced. Ideal experience for those wishing to soak in good food and good wine in a lovely setting.

We sat downstairs and it was beautiful, great ambiance. Germain gave excellent service! Very friendly.

Cafe Louise was recommended to us by our hotel. Our request was local, French, smart but relaxed. It didn’t disappoint. The nems to start with and crepe suzette for dessert were delicious and enough to share, and our mains were v tasty. Nice decor and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a St Germain restaurant/brasserie.

Amazing experience! Food Service Festaurant takes you back to the 30/40s, a bit of a jazzy twist and amazing cocktails! Highly recommend!

The host barely looked at us and reservations made no difference whatsoever. We were sat by the bathroom at the back of the restaurant when there were plenty of other tables available. The French onion soup was mostly bread with few onions. Our waiter was hospitable but never checked on us or the food. The steak was good but the duck was overcooked. Overall the restaurant felt like a tourist trap.

The restaurant is beautiful, the service was fabulous and the food outstanding. We were a party of 10. We sat downstairs near the bar area. The restaurant was very busy on a Tuesday with 2 other large parties in the same room. It was vibrant and fun!

Everything about Cafe Louise was a perfect Paris experience. our waiter Enzo was charming and very helpful, the food was the best we've had in Paris. sole meuniere was beautifully done and cooked to perfection, my husband had the beef tataki that also was perfection. everything about Cafe Louise was great! The charming atmosphere, the food, the staff...perfect!

The food was wonderful and reasonably priced. The restaurant is not one of those commercialized touristy restaurants. The service was great and all four of our meals were terrific. I highly recommend this restaurant as a hidden gem.

Extremely disappointed in the food. Lovely atmosphere, service was good but food was sub par. Our steaks were raw. Wish we had gone back to Brasserie Lipp. Still thinking about how good their food was. Would not recommend Cafe Louise and disappointed we went there for our last night in Paris.

Service was excellent. Escargot and chèvre toast was ok. I was expecting more flavor for the escargot and the chèvre was not warm enough to spread onto the toast.

Excellent desserts and a good restaurant for brunch or lunch when in Saint Germain des Pres. The soup a l’oignion and the pavlova are very much recommended. It’s noisy because of the amount of people but lovely decoration. The only problem is I paid directly through the Fork app and we had a discussion because they thought I didn’t pay, and literally they chased me. Besides that a good option.

This was our first meal after arriving in Paris, and set the tone for a wonderful vacation. The cafe was beautiful, food was delicious, and the staff were unmatched. Highly recommended!

I am so glad this little cafe was recommended. I had wanted to go to the tourist spots (also where Henry Miller had frequented), but my family was short on time before a tour at the Orsay, and the service here was quick at breakfast: Perfect pastries, coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, and sons opted for a proper omelette. The ambience is hip, the service efficient and friendly to dumb foreigners like myself. Really appreciate their efforts and a wonderful introduction to the city.

We were delighted to get a booking at this restaurant. The service was fantastic and the food even better. We were seated in the basement section at a lovely oval table that was perfect for our group of 6.

Wife and I loved this restaurant. It was our first restaurant in Paris and then it was also our last chosen restaurant, because we had such a good experience the first time. My wife couldn't stop raving about the sole meuniere and my chicken curry dish was exceptional. And the desserts offered in the cafe gourmand were amazing as well. I hope we get to come back one day.

We had a great time. The waiter was very polite, friendly, and professional. One of us is vegan, and the waiter went the extra mile to make sure we could have a nice meal. For the vegans: order the vegetarian burger without cheese and a ratatouille (even if it’s not on the menu). The Chardonnay was great too.

My wife, daughter and I happened upon this restaurant last Sunday after reading numerous street menus and seeing they offered onion soup. We were not disappointed! My wife says their onion soup is the best she ever had. Tonight, based upon our earlier experience, we returned. Our meals were outstanding! I had the duck and they had gnocchi, both of which were superb. We enjoyed onion soup again, which was even better than before. Our server was gracious and extremely efficient. The bill was very reasonable, making this Cafe a real value!

Went as part of Paris pass. Expecting more for a traditional French breakfast… as advertised. Croissants were squeezed a little flat , as though they’d been there for awhile. Not really with the time to go there. As a result, we cancelled a dinner reservation we had made.
