Great location. Sub par service. Really bland food. The French onion soup was truly the worst I’ve ever had. The cordon blue looked good, but had no flavor. And my friend’s boeuf bourgeon was grey. When I asked how it was he said he normally eats military rations so, he guessed it wasn’t that bad.” I picked the place because of its high ratings and ended up being embarrassed that I brought my friends to such a mediocre restaurant.

Amazing service and food!

The few times that I came to Loup were because of their beef tartar which every time was very good. However, the reason why I doubt that I’ll ever go there again is that last time the waiter did a typical trick to push the bill up. I ordered a glass of red wine, which, as it is everywhere accepted, means a normal portion, not a double. The waiter brought me a large glass of a double portion, which I never asked for (plus it was filled in until the top, which looked ugly). When I mentioned the “generosity” of serving, the waiter answered something about his hope for the generosity of the bill. The bill, eventually, of course had a double portion, which I refused to pay (to be fair, the bill was then changed, no question asked). The entire situation was quite ugly, so, despite other good things, this restaurant is no longer on my list.

We didn’t have the best table , very little Ambience . The food was tasty but the pork was very fatty , so wouldn’t recommend . Nice staff though.

the steak was pretty hard, but the ambiance was quite nice and it didnt feel too touristy for Paris.

Cozy and cute vibe for a Sunday night where there aren’t a lot of options. However service was truly bad- we watched while the entire back of the restaurant didn’t see a single server for 30+ minutes. No one got drinks, no one got checks, no one had food brought. Two tables just got up and left. Food was ok.

The restaurant was very clean and welcoming. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food itself was excellent – the French onion soup was outstanding, full of flavor and perfectly prepared. I also loved the creative selection of healthy drinks, which offered some really interesting combinations. I will definitely come back!
