First of all, people must be informed that upy need hicking shoes in order to climb steep mountain trail down to the restaurant and back from it. I wore sandals with leather soles and almost fell on the way there because it was very slippery. I and my daughter had to walk barefoot in order not to slip and fall. It is very difficult to walk that path for people with knee and heart problems so the management should warn customers about it. Also there is a locked door in the middle of that horrendous trail and the restaurant should send people that code in advance because there is almost no phone service on that trail. Now the food, nothing was good except desert. Strange and not pleasant combination of flavors. The main course almost raw fish had no flavor and was just not good. The place has a pretty view of the sea and sunset but Ischia has so many great places and restaurants with that kind of views that it makes no sense to suffet on that trail.

The Lighthouse is a State Property and Historical Heritage, and this is why we present it "as it is", to our guests: to keep and share with you, the unique environment and its original History. Beautiful location, a little tricky to find and get to I would recommend a scooter or taxi to the entrance and then you have to take the steps down. They didn’t send me the code for the gate, so we were stuck on the steps for 10mins. When we finally arrived, they looked us up and down and it wasn’t a warm welcome. The view is stunning and one to remember, but the food left a lot to be desired. For €140 per head, you would expect outstanding flavours and service, but it was average. Not memorable for the food at all. I wouldn’t bother going back nor recommend this place. There is some stunning locations on the island , for a lot cheaper , with just as stunning views.

We had the most magical night at the Light House. Incredible ambiance. You cannot beat the views on Ischia for sunset.

I feel that with such an incredible view there should be a room with open windows, I felt that room was very small and also very hot inside. some of the servings were good and others not so much, particularly the rhubarb dessert, to me it was in edible, it was incredibly sour. I couldn’t even take one bite of it. Also, the cabbage with the rice was in edible, incredible sour taste. Nice experience to go but I don’t think I would go again

Ancora di più rimango dispiaciuto poichè il nostro Faro ha una storia di accoglienza, ospitalità, ed un stile che riporta alle sue origini. Noi che lo viviamo quotidianamente rimaniamo affascinati dal suo saper stupire ed ispirare, ed i nostri sforzi sono per aiutarlo a comunicare il suo essere unico ai nostri ospiti. L'impegno da parte dal nostro staff, con voi ospiti, è di dare il meglio, ed in questo caso non siamo riusciti. Mi scuso da parte di tutto il Team e con esso la invito a ritornare presto perchè possa vivere la nostra Casa con occhi diversi

Great if you're a foodie. Superb attention to detail and taste experience. Expensive, so be prepared. The 100 steps down to the restaurant can be challenging. Driving to the destination is another challenge. Take a cab if possible.
