A cozy little restaurant with amazing food and a wonderful hostess.

Fatima was a hostess extraordinaire! Everything exceeded expectations (which were already high).

The atmosphere was frigid, mainly because the waitress was charmless and clearly rated herself and the restaurant more highly than they deserved. We were not surprised there were so few people eating there. It was our first night in Lisbon and all the other restaurants we visited on the succeeding four nights were better in every respect.

Our meal at Lugar Marcado was the best we had of a week of eating out in Lisbon. The food was so perfectly cooked with wonderful flavours. The staff were excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant is small but with a great atmosphere. My only regret is that it took us a week to find the restaurant.

It is a small place which makes it a charming place. I only sampled a few things, but they were full of flavor.

Food was fantastic and very well priced for what was served. High quality ingredients , cooked very well and offering a slightly modern take on traditional Portuguese cuisine. Understandably popular but a relatively small locale so booking ahead essential.

We had a wonderful time at Lugar Marcado. The grilled octopus and side dishes were delicious, and we were welcomed with a warm smile. The restaurant is cosy and quiet enough to spend a good time away from the crowded, more touristy spots. We would certainly go back on a future trip to Lisbon.

The service was so friendly and patient. The ginger chicken was delicious! And it felt like I was eating in someone's living room. I loved it! Life tip! Go with whatever side the server recommends for your entree. I didn't, and I immediately referred it and ended up ordering the recommended one.

The food was good. The service was fun but a bit slow. The lady who served us was fun. But the price is a bit too expensive for the kind of dishes. The food wasnice but not sophisticated, I did not worth 60€ per person.

This was our first time and in case we come back to Lisboa definitely not our last time! Beside the more than excellent food also excellent service and recommendations! One of us is suffering a nut allergy plus has some other ‚issues’ and the recommendations were immediately adapted accordingly! Simply more then perfect!

Everything from the service to the food was amazing! Fatima took great care to make us feel welcome, assist us in choosing our dishes and recommending the wine. We had a wonderful conversation about the food traditions of Portugal that continue today. The meal was prepared and presented beautifully. If you get a chance, do you yourself a favor and enjoy a relaxing, delicious meal at this fabulous restaurant.

Owner is a lovely lady who advises on what goes best with dish that is chosen. This place can be a bit tricky to find as you go up stairs and cross a road into an archway and up quite another steep set of stairs. The black pork ribs were delicious as was the sheep cheese and tomato jam! Yum!

We could not have asked for a more wonderful evening. The food, service, ambiance and wine selection was fantastic. The perfect hidden gem off the beaten path.

Our last night in Lisbon and our dinner at Lugar Marcado did not disappoint. Our host was friendly and gave excellent recommendations of wine and food. The pork ribs were flavourful and done perfectly. My husband had the duck breast and he felt was one of the best prepared duck he has had. We ended with a chocolate mouse and a 2007 white port -prefect ending to a wonderful evening. Would recommend you visit this neighborhood gem!!

Lugar Marcado was one of the best dining experiences we had while in a 2 week stay in Lisbon. We visited the restaurant 3 times.

Delicious food. Great selection of wines for drinking by the glass. Elegant atmosphere. The owner is knowledgeable and directed us towards the food and drink to fit our preferences. Best meal we've enjoyed in Lisbon.

The environment was relaxed, elegant and quite personal in feeling. The food was just outstanding. The service matched. We highly recommend this restaurant. As Americans traveling, this is a very good choice to experience local food and the people making this a wonderful place to dine.

The staff were attentive and knowledgeable about food and wine. Lugar Marcado has a lovely atmosphere and a lot of vegetarian and non vegetarian options. It was a nice way to celebrate our last day in Lisbon.

All the food was excellent, but the owners make this restaurant shine and eating there is so much fun. My only recommendation is to save room for dessert. We had the almond cake and black chocolate mousse that to die for. The best meal we had in Lisbon.

Amazing food in a quiet place away from the all the noise, the waitress/hostess amazing attention to tour needs. I had the lamb with roasted potatoes very good….loved the concept of picking your own bottle of wine
