Owner is a lovely lady who advises on what goes best with dish that is chosen. This place can be a bit tricky to find as you go up stairs and cross a road into an archway and up quite another steep set of stairs. The black pork ribs were delicious as was the sheep cheese and tomato jam! Yum!

10/10Our last night in Lisbon and our dinner at Lugar Marcado did not disappoint. Our host was friendly and gave excellent recommendations of wine and food. The pork ribs were flavourful and done perfectly. My husband had the duck breast and he felt was one of the best prepared duck he has had. We ended with a chocolate mouse and a 2007 white port -prefect ending to a wonderful evening. Would recommend you visit this neighborhood gem!!

10/10All the food was excellent, but the owners make this restaurant shine and eating there is so much fun. My only recommendation is to save room for dessert. We had the almond cake and black chocolate mousse that to die for. The best meal we had in Lisbon.

10/10The manager was very welcoming and attentive throughout our meal. The food was very good. For starters i had mussels and my husband had quails eggs with sausage. For our mains we both had Roast Lamb with thyme potatoes. We asked for a wine recommendation and were given a taster of two wines to try, before ordering a bottle. Would definetly recommend this restaurant which is small and intimate.

10/10Fatima was our hostess, server and bartender and was quite busy but took the time to give recommendations and to banter as well. Very nice. The menu was more varied than in many other restaurants we went to and was all excellent. Especially the shrimp starter.. flavorful and tender.

10/10We came in and had the most memorable dinner for our entire trip to Portugal here. We didn't know what to order so asked for her to make the decision for us and we were so happy. The pork was absolutely the best pork I've ever eaten in my entire life. I'll come back here anytime I'm back in Lisbon.

10/10The most incredible food, in fact the best meal we have had during our stay in Portugal. Our party had the black pork with sweet potato and celariac, pork ribs with pepper and tomato rice and fish with boiled potatoes. We all agreed the black pork was the absolute highlight. The lady serving us, who I believe owned it, was so polite and helpful. She bought out my daughter her very own little carafe of fresh juice and made her feel very special and welcome as a child.

9.5/10Chose this restaurant for our last night in Lisbon after reading previous reviews. We were not disappointed although you may walk past without realising it is a restaurant! Our hostess (the owner I guess) was great - recommended a few dishes and suggested the wine according to our chosen meals. Lovely food all round and good wine choice. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for!

10/10This is a small, hidden restaurant serving authentic Portuguese cuisine. Excellent wine selection and very tasty entree selections. We had the grilled shrimps as our starter; and the ginger chicken, seafood linguine and the cod loin as our main dishes. Everything was prepared with care and attention to detail. We had a lovely evening as a family visiting with a friend who lives in Lisbon. Truly a wonderful evening and dining experience.

7/10Very good food. However on service side, we would have loved to be recommended on size of plates. We had too much food that could’ve been shared. Temperature inside restaurant was way too hot to enjoy a meal. However, value vs quality is good. Just need to upgrade service and turn on AC when needed.

7/10I’m surprised about the reviews stating how great the food is. Almost everything we ordered was overly salty. The cod was dry. I was suspicious when the waitress said it takes half an our to roast cod in the oven. The octopus was nothing special. Even our daughter’s pasta was uneventful. However, our waitress was actually very wonderful and the setting is cozy.

9.5/10We could have easily walked by this absolute treasure of a restaurant had we not discovered it on TheFork. We had the best meal here of our 8 night trip to Porto and Lisbon - and we ate really well on this trip. The owner and chef make everything from scratch, to order. We especially loved the samosa-like appetizers and the duck entree. The restaurant itself is very wuiet , with a nice selection of wines. Highly recommended!!
