Kulinarisches Highlight in Noordwijk "the Place to be"

We visited the restaurant the first time. It is part of boutique hotel Villa de Duinen and offers seating on a covered terrasse or inside (due to the good weather, we were placed outside). It was not very busy, probably due to it being a Monday. The menu card is let's say limited. There was a choice of 4 or 5 course menus wither with or without in-between courses and a variety of accompanying drinks options (wine, water, coffee). Food was creative, well presented, tasty and unpretentious. It's worth mentioning that the drinks recommendations (we decided against accompanying drinks) was excellent, being it wine, dessert wine or beers. One of the best I'd had in my years of fine dining. The only improvement would be reducing the overly long periods between courses. I would've wished this to be quicker, 3 hours for 4 courses was a bit too long. Still a clear recommendation for a tasty evening with friends or a special one.

Was such a nice experience! Waiter perfect, the food was amazing. Really nice environment, they think about all details. I advise people to take the double 6 plates.

We had a great dinner on the terras at Villa de Duinen. The food is high on taste. Lots of nice sauces and great pairing of two dishes (we had the 7 course all-in option, served in four rounds). The wine pairing was very interesting and worked well for most of the time. One of the glasses was a beer, I was less enthusiastic about the beer. My wife has the alcohol free pairing. Most juices were vegetable juice, not tasting all that great. She would order regular drinks or water during our next visit. View from the Villa is very nice. Staff is attentive and they really make sure you are well looked after. Price point is about what one would expect from a place close to a Michelin star. Well done, we will come back!

This restaurant is of Michelin star quality. The lunch with 3 friends was wonderful: refined, innovative delicious lunch. The staff was lovely and the chairs and decor peaceful and very comfortable.

Very pleasent and yummi experience! place is pleasant, good atmoshphere, good and friendly service, good presentation of the dishes. many of the delicious dishes are actually tastings and not disshes - much to small - while the price is high. This was not pleasant. if it tases good and it is the size of an appetizer, you should not call it a dish; 59 E should include food and not samples. We enjoyed the overall effect but were dissapointed with the use of the Michelin star to reduce the amount of delicious food.

Very nice food for a reasonable price in a lovely admosphere

Excellent and creative cuisine, we had a wonderful evening! Each plate was perfectly cooked and arranged, the wine-arrangement perfectly hose and nicely moderated by th service.

Lunch in Villa De Duinen was a very pleasant re-discovery of the restaurant. Having not been there for a while, everything strongly improved: high quality of the food, extremely nice atmosphere and super service for a very good price for value. Highly recommendable!

It was not my first time in this restaurant- I knew what to expect. I absolutely love the experience of being in this place: the service, the food, the ambience. Would like to visit this lovely place again!!!

We enjoyed the specialities of the chef on the new menu, especially the Japanese fusion herbs and spices. Helpful staff who explained the menu and the served dishes.

We had 7 dishes that were served in 5 courses. Except for the main couse (meat was overcooked) the other 6 courses were extremely good. Well balanced and tasty. Wine pairing was very good. Some surprising wines. Definitely worth going again!

We really enjoyed everything about our dinner, the atmosphere, the food, the service and the friendliness of the staff. Highly recommend this restaurant for an excellent meal, fine wine and a special night out.

I been there for the second time and I can wait to come back again. It’s never disappointing, food is amazing and maked with passion. Atmosphere is really cozy you don’t feel the time going

Very tasty meal, nice place to be, good service. We had the all-inclusive menu-du-chef that comes at a very reasonable and fair price, includes a glass of wine with each course. Excellent choice of the wines by the sommelier. Very pleasant experience.
