Excellent location, excellent service kind and attentive but seafood is often frozen ….. I was surprised to see a very nice and attractive location straight on the beach using frozen seafood (it’s written on the menu). For this reason I can’t give the 5 star.
Lunaria Beach Restaurant & Lounge BarThank you very much for your review. Just for your information we do not use frozen sea food. As per our menu we write ":Dishes marked with * COULD be prepared with frozen or deep-frozen raw materials at the origin. Maybe you do not know, Tuna for example, is regularly subjected to thermal chilling at origin, a crucial process in order to eliminate parasites and making the fish safe to be eaten raw. European regulations require the chilling of tuna and other species intended for raw consumption, such as prawns, scampi ecc ecc. This process involves rapid cooling to temperatures below -18°C or -40°C for a specific period of time (e.g., 24 hours at -20°C) to prevent the growth of parasites such as Anisakis, which can cause serious health problems. In high season we do not use frozen products, but it CAN happen and therefore we have to write it on the menu. We do not want to be rude, but it is important that you get the correct information and and hope to welcome you soon again. Paola Mancini General Manager

the servers were a little overwelmed with keeping up with the tables, but very nice and polite. food was excellent, location was beautiful. will go back!

Food is definitely not the best, far from it. Service to say the same. The view is gorgeous, but I don’t know if it make up for the full experience.

The food was subpar with smelly raw fish, I’m surprised we didn’t get sick. The dessert chocolate was frozen and the service was horrible. Probably the worst service I’ve ever seen. We had to get up and walk towards the door to get the check after multiple asks with different waiters. Do not go here. Save your money!

Nice atmosphere, excellent location and really good food

What a great restaurant. The food was amazing but the view and incredibly friendly service made it for us. The staff spoke very good English and we felt welcomed from the minute we walked in. I would absolutely recommend this place.
