food was bland. meatballs were literally raw... sent them back, only to get them back raw (for the 2nd time)

We had such a great time. This restaurant was the only one that acknowledged our celebration (honeymoon) with a complimentary glass of prosecco as we were seated. The food and service were great!

+1Absolutely the best meal of our 2 week Europe trip! So good that my husband and friend ordered another meal! Fantastic service, great wine, stunning views, with great food. You won’t be disappointed. Also, the hotel staff is top notch!

The town is quite steep with lots of stairs, if you are staying in town, this restaurant will send a car to pick you up!! AND drop back home , add terrific views and ambience and good food ? This restaurant is a delight.

Food was great. Service, not so much. —. Not given wine menu, had to ask for it after 10 min being given main menu; —. Specifically asked for appetizer first followed by two entrees; waiter brought two appetizers to the table — one which my spouse never ordered. —- waiters basically inattentive to our table of two: — When waiters did come; we felt rushed as they expressed impatience; —- dessert did not have citrus (as advertised) just sugar

This restaurant was amazing! We have walked past it so may times and finally made reservations and I'm sorry we didn't go sooner! Really was excellent service and outstanding food!

We had a great experience at M’ama. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Our server even ran out after us when I left my sweater on the chair.

The tomato sauce is incredible. The truffle butter pasta is so rich and delicious. The wine was spectacular. This is truly authentic Italian, and if you’re lucky enough to visit here, you will be amazed by the sights, the atmosphere, the food, and the service. This was an experience that will last a lifetime. Thank you!

The service was awful. Waiter was clueless. Had to ask him 3 times to take our full drink order. Dinner were not served right. The food was otherwise good. The restaurant has a nice view.

Great restaurant with amazing views. First place we ate with reasonably priced drinks ($12 compared to $18-20 other places). Food was fantastic, service was excellent. Best place we experienced in Praiano.

We are so happy we dined here! The food was incredible - fresh, flavorful and creative. The view and vibes were spectacular. The staff were kind, attentive and accommodating— they even brought us back to our local hotel via shuttle after our meal! When we come back to visit Praiano again, we will absolutely be back!

I'm a guest of the hotel Margherita and I visited this restaurant located on the second floor. The staff was kind, the atmosphere was good, and the food was delicious.

Weight staff was shorthanded, but did a pretty good job anyway. Food was good, but it was not super flavorful with layers of good richness. Prices were adequate not too expensive. I would suggest the ambience is worth the visit but don’t expect a ton from the food.

+1We had the most delicious meal at M’Ama restaurant during our four day stay along the Amalfi coast. In an area with so very many good restaurants, we LOVED our meal here. The food was exceptional! (Cows tail Ragu was to die for!!) the service was so attentive and helpful. We enjoyed great wine, a beautiful setting and truly amazing food.

+2I went for my girlfriend's 30th anniversary and we were totally in love with the restaurant. Perfect views, amazing food (we got the 2 menus to try multiple things) and the service was the best we found among all the restaurants on the Amalfi coast. Mattia made our night perfect, the sweetest person we've met on all our trip. He took care of us during the whole dinner with his sympathy and concern. We will definitely come back here when we travel again to the Amalfi coast!

The food was not how we’d anticipated,, based on menu descriptions. My “chicken cacciatore” was a few small pieces of bone in chicken, over cooked and dry. The vegetables were tasty…, celery, peppers, carrots, onions but served on the side of the chicken. A totally different rendition of a chicken cacciatore I’d had many other times….no tomato sauce and a small amount of chicken juices. My husband had tuna, which was dry, and deep fried, coated with a bread crumb mixture. It was odd. Raviolis for our appetizer we’re good. But the onion soup was not..not enough flavor or broth. Dessert was a typical molten chocolate cake with a tiny scoop of ice cream and some berries. Always delicious. The view made up for our disappointment with the food.

Our first time in Praiano and were so lucky to find M'ama. Our service and dinner was exceptional. If we are ever back on the coast we will definately come back.

This restaurant perches at the top floor of the hotel and overlooks the Amalfi coastline, which is a stunning nighttime backdrop. The waiters were all friendly & attentive. The food was truly exceptional, probably the best I have eaten anywhere in the world.

The place was gorgeous and very quiet when we went. However, the food reviews were a little deceiving. Most certainly not the best food we had in Italy, but the wait staff was lovely and options on the menu were different. We were delighted with their allergen friendly menu just not blown away by the food.

The RoofTop Location of the restaurant was excellent in terms of the fantastic view of the coastline from Praiano North and South. We had a 7:45 pm reservation and were promptly escorted up 4 flights of stairs of approximately 12 for each landing to the roof. We chose the steps, however there was an elevator that we would choose on a next visit. After all, we already had about 100 steps from our apartment accommodation to ascend to the street where we parked our vehicle. We ended our evening at the restaurant at approximately 22:00 and because it had rained the past 2 days on and off it was refreshingly cool for our walk to our parked car in front of the hotel and restaurant. We took a nice stroll down the street to take-in the beautiful evening before returning to our car for our short drive back up to our villa above. Overall, the restaurant was very nicely arranged with dining tables and a glass view of the Amalfi coastline as we dined. The front desk staffer was pleasant as he greeted us and escorted us up the stairs. He graciously showed us to a table, and graciously permitted us to choose a different table to our liking where we were then seated. The menu was interesting, in that the style of cooking was more tare tare. We prefer American style brazed cooked fishes and mollusks. The dishes we chose were not terrible, but would have been more to our liking had the scallops and cod fish dishes been brazen cooked. Understandably the style if cooking was more European. The host was very friendly and informative to help with our wine choice, and he answered all our questions regarding our menu choices. The music was pleasing at first with Smooth Jazz, but became too Traditional European and smarmy.Also too loud and distracting that was annoying to our ears. Overall we enjoyed our evening. We were recommended this restaurant by our Villa host who was a local property manager. My thoughts are that, of course he wished fir our business locally. I would say that the value if the dishes, including a dessert and cafe’ was good, with the exception that our taste in cooking style was not as much to our taste. The desserts were mixed reviews, as the chocolate coffee ice cream was far too rich and sweet. However, the cheesecake and cream with berries compote was excellent. Altogether I would rate our experience as very good with few exceptions. 200 Euros for our one and only high expense dining if our 3 week trip to Rome, Milan, Praiano (Amalfi Coast), and Sicilia, Palermo.

A nice menu with some appealing options. The food was very good, priced as you would expect in a heavily touristed locale. Unfortunately the service was a big disappointment. Our server seemed disinterested and just went through the motions and nothing more. He probably knew he’d never see us again and he’s 100% correct. Too bad he left a stain on what was otherwise an enjoyable evening.

Excellent seafood and grilled lamb chops. I had a brill fish over potatoes. The brill was a very mild almost sweet fish—ample portion perfectly cooked. One of the best fish dishes I ever had. Grilled lamb chops were excellent. Cooked perfectly—very tender, flavorful. The hot citrus tart was also excellent, served with chocolate ganache. Lovely dining room with great views of Amalfi coastline. Definitely would go back

The atmosphere was so warm and inviting. The food was so good. We started with the crispy veal, perfectly fried and not over cooked. Then we had the brill fish, my wife couldn’t stop eating it. For dessert we had the pistachio mousse, not overly sweet just perfect.

Great location, good ambiance, beautiful view. Staff was friendly and had small attentions to ensure a great experience. However we found food being a bit tasteless but beautiful presentation. Seafoods were fresh.
