9/10We went there with the family, kids love it. The service is really nice, and food is very good. It’s great to have a simples place with good food and amazing service.

The dumpling is good but wonton isn’t very hot when serving. The bao is very dry. They charge 2.5€ for the tap water without informing in advance because the price isn’t listed on the menu and usually tap water means free. The waitress took my friend’s sake and cocktail before they finished, without asking. After we finished the meal, we were still chatting there. I guess because we didn’t keep ordering desert or so, even the restaurant wasn’t full that time and there was still another group of customer just arriving to order, which means the restaurant was still open, the waitress asked us to leave.

This is not the impression we want to leave. We would like to clarify that all of our prices, including water, are listed on the menu, but we’ll review how clearly this is communicated to avoid any confusion in the future. Regarding the end of your meal, our intention was not to rush you out — we had a booking for a large group of 15 guests and therefore invited you to continue your evening at the bar so we could prepare the table. We appreciate your honesty and will be addressing these points directly with our team. 10/10Spectacular service, I don’t remember being treated so well as I was today, Sofia was amazing. Very good food, specially the Hong Kong noodles, a taste o f Hong Kong in Lisbon :) I will become a regular costumer.

+3At last, an authentic Oriental restaurant in Lisboa serving superior quality dumplings and wantons, the type you’d find in London, NY, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong and few other Asian cities. Chef Siddique appreciates the delicate process of making dumplings - skin texture, thickness and the flavourful filling. Plus, they serve it with dried chilli oil - a must to enhance the flavours of the dumplings but you have to ask for it. Their baos still need some work but forgivable! Deco is modern Oriental chic with the reds lighting up the room. A joy to have discovered Madam Bo. Will be back!

10/10Went with my wife for a weekday dinner. Upon arrival we were greeted and taken to our table by a very nice waitress. The place was buzzy but not overly loud. Cool decor with Asian accents in a very traditional portuguese set up. Food arrived quickly. Dumplings were at the right temperature, very nice and uniform. The ones that really stood out were wontons that were succulent and spicy but not overwhelming. Another dish that deserves a mention was a ramen (great noodle) with slow cooked beef. Wine list is short but well curated and priced. Service attentive. Will definitely come back.

10/10Being familiar with their spot in príncipe real, I was super happy to see them in Sao bento. Having lived in china for many years, I m glad to have my dumpling joint around the corner. Food is good, service is super friendly, will come back for sure

10/10Already knew the brother in Principe Real, loved Sao Bento even more!! New options in the menu, dumplings are still the best I have tried in Lisbon with also a couple of new flavours. Beef cheeks were an amazing surprise! The vibe of the restaurant is very relaxed, staff was very attentive and service was great (we reorder so many things and the flow of food never broke, great job from the kitchen). Will definitely return!
