9.5/10The food was fresh and tastes amazing. The choices are plentiful and the portions are ample. My spouse and I shared an entree & we were both quite full. The restaurant is small and crowded but the atmosphere is cozy and friendly.

8.5/10Don’t be fooled by the cramped and dingy surroundings. The food is excellent, portions are large, reasonably priced, and the service very pleasant. So what if it’s not fancy.

9/10Great little restaurant we stumbled across. Despite the look from the outside, the restaurant’s food was delicious. Service was good although a little wait initially to get inside (restaurant is small and takeaway people queue inside). Generous hot, food portions and extremely well priced for the middle of Amsterdam. Thanks!

10/10What an amazing meal, one of the best ever eaten in Amsterdam! Fabulous food all freshly cooked and beautifully presented, and great value too. This small restaurant packs a big punch and is highly recommended.

7.5/10Saved us on a rainy night. Food was good. Soup excellent. Spring rolls light and crisp. Only let down was a boring pad Thai that was overcooked and without texture.

10/10Lovely little Thai restaurant with delicious food, great cosy atmosphere and very reasonable prices. I miscalculated the tip …. One glass of wine too many. Sorry guys. But we’ll be back. Best food in central Amsterdam I’ve had in a while.

3.5/10I booked a table for two people for 20:30 and, when I arrived, they didn’t have any table reserved and asked us to wait for 5-10 minutes outside. After 15 minutes, we asked about the table and they had forgotten again about us. Instead, they called in another couple to sit in our supposed table. With this, we decided to give up about this restaurant and go somewhere else.

10/10By just looking around on maps in the area, we found this restaurant with the 4 of us. We were more than pleasantly surprised. Food, service and price/value were excellent. Do not expect a fancy place, but a very attentive service and lovely dishes. Would visit again anytime.

10/10I love this restaurant , food is delicious and staff super friendly. I go here at least twice a month. Also very reasonably priced meal for 3 with beer was 70 euro. Excellent value.

9.5/10Excellent food, cosy place, very friendly young lady gave us a very warm welcome. Unfortunately the partly full wine carafe was taken away directly after dinner. Another female waiter asked several times, if we would like the bill.

5/10We had a reservation which maybe the owners did not believe, because they asked us twice even after seating us? Our order ticket was lost so the food arrived very very late. The young lady serving us was very kind and professional. I think she did a great job. The food was tasty and because the messed our order they gave us free drinks. Which I appreciate. But the strangest thing was that when we went to pay the bill, the man asked if we want to add some tip to the final price? This is shocking for me because never have I had someone ask me for a tip ever, let alone after messing up our order.

9/10It almost never works with getting a reserved table but once you sit service is fast (maybe not the warmest but very polite) and food is so nice that it is worth.

10/10Some of the best Thai food we’ve ever had. Very friendly service. We complemented the presentation of the food and our waiter proudly said his mother had made the onion decoration. Excellent experience.

10/10It was a real pleasure to eat at Maenaam Thai restaurant - the interior is quite simple and modest but immediately from the entrance we had a feeling that this place is special! I advice better to book a table in advance because the space isn’t so big and it seems this restaurant is popular. For begging we took: Spring rolls with vegetable + fish soup with mushrooms and coriander. As main dish we took : fried squid in a red curry sauce with coconut milk + fried prawns with bambo and long beans in a green curry sauce. For drink : water, beer and white wine. The food was delicious, served on niecelny decorated plates and the price really reasonnable. I wish We had ordered more :-)

10/10It was small and busy. But very authentic and the food was AMAZING. We were lucky so we got table right away, even though we booked it in the last minute. Thai ice tea was amazing and all my other colleagues loved the food here. Recommended for good Thai food.

4.5/10We came on time with a reservation and had to wait for another 30 Minutes until we got the table. The food was average, but every main dish was way too sweet. I never had Thai food with tons of sugar before. The staff was friendly but tried hard. Putting the dirty cutlery on the table without a napkin is not appropriate. Sadly too many reasons to not come again.

4/101) we booked a table at 9pm for NYE and they tried to convince us that we actually booked at 9:30 and they made us wait. 2) 1 hour later they gave us a wet table and chair gotten from outside and dried and made my boyfriend sit on the chair covered with a kitchen cloth. The whole scene was embarrassing and pathetic not just for us but also for the other people at the restaurant. 3) there was only one waiter in the whole restaurant. ... let’s just say everything was very confusing and once again embarassing. The attitude of the young waiter was rude, arrogant and disrespectful towards us. 4) the waiter wanted to make us pay for wine and beer that the owner offered us to make thinds better which he knew about but tried to get away with it. Your choice.
