Service super slow, food ok. At check out once one of the party has already paid, we mentioned that we booked via The Fork and we were supposed to have 20% reduction. We were refused to get the reduction, saying that it was too late...it was not, the bill was paid yet. Not a nice gesture, typical in the are unfortunately.

Such a shame that there weren’t more Clients. Hopefully for them evenings are more popular. Friendly service and excellent food. In addition there is parking close by. Will certainly be going back again.

I had a disappointing experience at Le Mahal restaurant. The ambience of the restaurant was nice, but we were definitely let down by the poor service by the staff. There were two members of staff on the floor, and one refused to talk to us as we didn’t speak French, and the other staff member was rude once he finally made his way to us (after waiting for him for a while.) He was rude, seemed to be in a hurry, and walked away without answering all our queries and when we tried to talk to him again, he was rather annoyed that we called him back. The food (especially the Mixed Grill) was disappointing. The poulet Tikka did not appear fresh, and was tough to bite into. It seemed like it had been reheated, and was definitively not fresh. Portion sizes were smaller than expected for the price. The only highlight was our drinks, the mango Lassi, which we liked and the eggplant Pakoras. We are definitely not going back and wouldn’t be recommending the restaurant to anyone.

Most of the food was reasonable, but only because of the 50% offer, otherwise expensive.
