9.5/10I never bother to write these but really think this restaurant deserves the effort—the server was lovely, very accommodating, we enjoyed Spanish sardines, delicious salmon with black rice, and beef tartare with the very best fries we have ever tasted. Very nice wines by the glass. Would definitely come back.

10/10The food was fantastic, everyone was very happy a the table. What made the experience even more enjoyable was the staff, who were kind and friendly and gave us so many recommendations of things to do and see while in Paris. I highly recommend you visit this charming restaurant and sample their cuisine yourself.

7.5/10I thought the food was very good -- I had hake which is a fish. My husband liked his steak. I just felt the blonde woman who greeted us was not as welcoming as most hosts we have encountered at restaurants. She didn't smile and kept hitting my foot as she brushed through the place serving and greeting. The gentleman, however, was lovely. It was also the most expensive meal we had here. I'm not sure I would return, .mostly because because we didn't feel a warmth and the price was too high for what it was.

10/10My go to place for a wonderful upscale delicious dinner without the pretentious price! I go back twice a year and whenever I am in Paris. My first time came at the suggestion of my hotel front desk. They referred me to the place across the street and hesitantly I chose to go. Since then, I can't imagine a trip to Paris without dinner at Maison Bes. Violet addressed every request I have ever had. Like when there was no foie gras on the menu but at my request she delivered. Makes my Paris experience that much better!

10/10Violette was a fantastic host. As restaurant owner, she was welcoming and engaging to our American group. Everyone loved their meals. The paté and the beef were especially delicious. A great place to enjoy a night out with friends.

10/10We had a great experience at Maison Bes. Family of 7 made a reservation for 8pm. They had wonderful food. The menu is seasonal and changes often. My kids enjoyed the meal and the food but they are adventurous eaters. The one gal who was working the whole restaurant by herself still managed to provided wonderful, friendly service!

9/10A superb bistrot experience. Very welcoming of foreigners (Americans), with an English menu, and didn’t mind us traveling with a 4 year old. A good lunch find - perhaps a little “heavy” versus a more typical American lunch (feels more like dinner entrees), but each dish was well executed.

10/10Great food and amazing service. Highly recommended to all tourists. Make sure you try their sea bas and Veal. The desert menus was awesome as well. Will be back for sure.

10/10Wonderful bistro. I had the foie gras poele, which was cooked mi cuit perfectly and tasted good, and the steak tartare, which was delicious. The meat flavor was not overpowered by the accoutrements but the seasoning highlighted it well. The frites were astounding - they were crunchy during the entire meal. I had the house pinot noir and Bordeaux and both were excellent. Lovely family owned place. I plan to eat there again.

10/10Had rabbit/pork pate for a starter. Superb! Our dinners were even better! The chef’s special that night was a white fish and our other dinner was the medallion steak. Charming bistro and very cozy.
