This was haute cuisine without any pomposity. All beautifully presented and quite delicious. Lovely to have the chef’s recommendations which we enjoyed with a bottle of wine chosen with the careful assistance of the sommelier To end the evening being greeted by the smiling and relaxed chef in person was lovely. We had not expected to find such refined dining in Bethune but would go out of our way again to go for a special and out of the ordinary dinner. While quite a lot to pay for dinner (menus at £45, £75 and, I think £95) plus wine, the quality will long be remembered. Thank you Renard!
