We reserved for 7.30-staff did not allow us access until 7.40 (6 customers in line with us left) My husband’s entree was cold, and my risotto was tasteless. Disappointing.

The food was ok. Most of the dishes were bland with not much of flavor. Maybe because everything is already prepared to served hours ago? The duck was far below expectations. Deserts the same. In general some laziness in the kitchen is very much felt as we work for in the industry. The wine suggestion was amazing, it was what made the night. Ambiance can improve significantly with small upgrades to the decor to proper music. Thats our feedback. We had a good evening, we would not come back though as the food was not great.

We were looking forward to a steak and had heard good things about Mamma Mia. We were anticipating an expensive meal but were very disappointed in the quality of the meat. The meat is sold in 100gm portions (with minimum 1kg) - the meat type we chose was supposedly not available on the day so we were up-sold (40%) to a more expensive cut. Not a problem except that I estimated over 50% of the weight was rib bone and fat. The unusually large quantity of un-edible fat was my main complaint and I raise cattle in Australia so I have a little bit of knowledge. This evoked a shrug of the shoulders from the waiter with a care-factor of zero.

Good modern meat restaurant in best residential area of rome, close to center, terrace with atmosphere and cosy light, more authentic not touristic great quality of food, low prices. Definitely recommended, experience real local stylish dining!

Three people for lunch on a Monday. Dining area was well-populated but not overcrowded. Had a reservation and did not have to wait to be seated in the very pleasant atrium area. Service was excellent, solicitous but not overbearing. Food (two steaks, one chicken, various appetizers and sides, and two deserts) was also excellent. Price corresponded very well to quality. We will certainly return again ... if it's this good on a Monday lunch, eager to see what they can do on a "serious" dinner night.

Their meat was fatty and had no taste. It just was not good. This place used to be our favorite restaurant 4 years ago, but to return after a few years to find almost no change to the menu and a noticeable downshift on the food quality, we were very disappointed. We had invited our friends from overseas and spent over €700 for the 6 of us. But the whole experience was tasteless and disappointing. We were easily convinced not to return next time we’re in Rome.

Food was excellent, ambiance too. They got very busy on that Saturday night so service became overwhelmed and it was a struggle to get our check and be able to leave! Too bad, it would have been a perfect meal, but we asked about 4 different servers for the check. Maybe they need to assign one server to the table so that one has ownership of the process, avoiding it to become chaotic, as it did....

For the first time in nearly 50 years of work and social lunches and dinners i have never walked out of a restaurant, so this was a first. The staff were rude and off hand, they have no non-alcoholic beer, so option was coke or water. My wife water a glass of rose, but the didn't do that ether. The menu on line was several pages, but we were handed one pice of paper with a few dishes on. When asked why not a proper menu, told that the website was out of date. Asked for some bread and given 2 stale slices. Ordered the carbonara and came out stone cold, asked if it could be hot and just got tutted at. At this point decided to leave as clearly the evening was already spoilt. Told the manger we were leaving and all he could say was "ok leave then". Did not ask any reason why or what the problem was .. went to so many good restaurants in Rome but this was appalling and staff were rude. DON'T waste your money or time

We read mixed reviews of this restaurant but decided to try it anyway and did not regret it. The food is excellent, the waiter explained carefully the different cuts of meat and we ended up choosing the Simmenthal, which is aged, well marbled and was perfectly cooked. It melts in your mouth. We also had the ribs, which again were delicious. So hard to get good ribs in Rome! Highly recommend this place!

We had a fantastic meal. The staff were knowledgeable and so friendly and we were guided by them in terms of ordering. We were not disappointed; the food was amazing, the steak was so tender and mouthwateringly delicious. Such a fab restaurant. What was particularly great was that the staff were so attentive and helped with both food and wine decisions. You definitely need to include this in your stay in Rome. We will definitely be back.

We had a date night at Mamma Mia during our stay in Rome and it was a delightful and authentic Italian experience. Highly recommended!

Great restaurant in a neighborhood we are staying in for an extended period currently on Holiday. Wonderful Risotto and Meat selections. Endless Wine and Champagne List. Great dessert selections. Service was great and English friendly. Very fair pricing. Will definitely return during our stay.

We sat inside but most sit in the garden. Steak came out uncooked but then they fired it up. Very tasty

This restaurant has an amazing setup and beautiful terrasse. It was a great find outside busy areas of Rome. Food is great, but service is terrible. Definitely not welcoming tourists and seem to prefer local clientele wearing Zara clothes and Botox.

Meal was sub par overall. Disappointing meat. Not left to rest thus the plate was extremely bloody. Taste was lackluster, and little attention paid to the presentation. Poor quality and service felt as though we were a nuisance.

Not as per expectations . Not an option to have a good piece of meat below 1200gr-1400gr which was too much . Meet was served in a Himalayan salt block which wasn’t hot enough to continue cooking the meat. It was served rare and had to send it back to cook it more to medium. Even we know Himalayan board , it wasn’t explained to us. They could have been better to elaborate and explain the concept. They served chips than fries , it would have been better to have more options. Service was too slow as well.

So we didn't have the steak. That's important to know as the restaurant specialises in it and looking around some of the steak looked great, some...less so. The other dishes seem like an after thought though. We had duck with foie gras and berries, which was duck, slightly overdone, with duck pate and dried orange... And we had pork ribs - 4 of them in a sauce which was a bit too sour for taste. Service was okay, but waiter didn't know the specials and didn't know what side he had given us. Another waiter spent 2 mins on the table behind us which meant his ass was in the back of my partner's head knocking into her several times. Not ideal. All in all, it wasn't a great experience.

A restaurant to visit: chic and easy. Staff super welcoming and eccellent service. Super meat, their specialty. I strongly recommend it and will definitely go again.

When we went for a tagliatta for two, the attitude changed a lot, personnel removed one basket of bread, the meat was served cold, the potato chips are really … potato chips served in a bowl… only the grilled zucchini were ok. Disappointed…

Very attentive service and excellent food. The atmosphere is elegant, yet cosy. We surely will be coming back to try other dishes. Their champagne list is impressive.

Amazing place for wine lovers ! We enjoyed every meal. The pasta is delicious the appetizers wonderful ! The wine list is really huge and the place is modern and beautiful. On a quiet area

Only table in the restaurant and they messed up the order then argued about it. Food was ok our least favorite meal in Italy.
