3/10No one is the restaurant speaks english , the whole menu is in italian and they have no English menu . The food wad very bad and tasteless. And we arrive just on time but we had to wait almost 45 min outside .we were so disappointed

We think you've chosen the wrong restaurant!!! We have a digital menu in four languages, and our staff can take orders in English. The most absurd thing is our tasteless food, so the hundreds and hundreds of people who give us a 10 don't understand a thing. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

5.5/10The risottos we ordered (Amalfi and Parma) were unfortunately flavorless and seem to have been cooked with cream to get the texture, instead of Parmesan. We both didn’t finish our meals due to this. However, the Tiramisu was absolutely delightful.

10/10After dining at some disappointing recommended restaurants in Salerno, we found Manteca with good ratings on The Fork. Our dinner started with some complimentary house made chips with lime mayo, and sesame and poppy seed bread rolls with succulent olive oil. The olive oil was the best we have ever tasted. These two items easily offset the 3 euro cover other reviewers have commented on. For an appetizer, we ordered the smoked sea bass with olives, escarole and a pickled caper flower. It was delicious. For the main course, we had the risotto with lemon and frutti di mare - it said tuna on the menu but it was mussels, the gnocchi filled with ricotta, drizzled with pesto and a cream sauce, and crisped zucchini. This dish was incredible and highly recommended. For desert, we had the rum baba and homemade lemon cello. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. Grazie!
