10/10I recommend specially the seafood mix it it was fresh and really tasty. Totally worth it price. Also, the design environment is very friendly and cozy.

9/10We have been to Mar ao Largo many times and the food is always good. We had grilled prawns this time, perfectly cooked. The service was great. In the winter the restaurant can be on the cool side, so wear a sweater or bring a scarf.

2/10Asked to try a sample of two wines sold by the glass and was explicit that I would buy a bottle of the one I liked. I was told that one of the wines was unavailable so the waiter doesn’t bring me the other choice but brings me the next most expensive wine. Unfortunately I only notice when the bill arrives and am charged an extra 15EUR. The waiter feigns ignorance but still charged me the full amount and doesn’t take off by 30% discount even though I mentioned my fork booking as I entered the restaurant.

10/10My second time there was such amazing because the food, the service! And this time I’ve tried octopus and pina colada desert, so amazing. Bernardo was a fantastic waiter the whole time! I strong recommend it!

10/10Great place! Very friendly, polite and helpful service. Food was amazing! Atmosphere perfect, great music at the right volume. They were particularly accommodating that we had a little baby/pram with us (even though I would say this is not a family restaurant.. very classy!). Just perfect, would highly recommend. We booked with a discount offer, but even at full price very much worth it!

8.5/10Excellent seafood. Great service and accommodating of our baby. Pretty sure the chips weren’t fresh though. But that’s the only fault really, well worth the money

10/10We loved our dinner at Mar ao Largo. The service was excellent, Bernardo our waiter was very polite and kind, always helping us with suggestions for the food and drinks. We ate Polvo a Lagareiro and it was delicious, we would definitely recommend it.

3/10Was our 10th wedding anniversary which they knew about. Was seated beside stairs with people brushing past to go to the toilet and waiters carrying dishes past us. No Sauvignon blanc but a reserve bottle appeared at twice the price and when I asked if we could have it for the price that she had run out of , she said no way. So , I ordered the house white and she brought it over and shouted very loudly that it was 16 euros , so I shouted even louder that it was fine with me and thank you very much! Meal was extremely slow and we cancelled the cheese and biscuits as we had waited 30 mins and it had still had not arrived. Very disappointed. Would not bother going here at all,
