5.5/10I apologize for my mum’s behavior. That being said I had much greater expectations for the food based on previous reviews. It was really underwhelming.

10/10what a find!! we were absolutely blown away by the passion in this little seafood restaurant. Really interesting menu with modern twists. Absolutely yummy. I’d love to live in Lisbon to eat here more often. Thank you so much!

9/10Nice little restaurant all around the sea. The only thing I would say is an issue is the normal prices. 15€ for a fried fish burger is too much especially when the side dishes are only chips. Also 3€ for a 20cl local beer is way too much for Portugal. otherwise the food is good and the recipes are researched.

8.5/10The gentleman serving us was friendly and pleasant. the food was tasty but unfortunately the portion sizes are very small in comparison to the price. in our 4 days in Lisbon we had similar quality and quantity seafood for a third of the price. I would suggest managing the portion sizes to match the price and the restaurant will be perfect.

9/10Very good service, great location in Lisbon to go out and enjoy the proximity to many bars and nice places to stay also pre and post dinner. This is a sea food restaurant, so don’t come if you don’t like it! The quality of the food is good, the portions are like tapas, so order one more dish than you might usually consider if you are hungry. These guys are quite experimental … this might result in some adventurous dishes like the Bacalhau dish with seaweed and spinach - was a bit weird and too homogenous for our taste. The other dishes were excellent and we truly enjoyed it.

9.5/10We decided to try this restaurant by looking at the reviews and we were not wrong. Super friendly service, amazingly delicious and innovative dishes and comfortable atmosphere. We were very pleased and will definitely be back at Mar & Nada next time we visit Lisbon.

10/10Mar&Nada was probably my favorite meal in Lisbon. Our table of 4 tried a large portion of the menu and every dish was full of flavor and lovingly prepared. We really got the sense that this chef was putting her heart and soul into her dishes and we loved the casual and unpretentious vibe of the restaurant and its staff. The family style shared dishes allowed everyone to try something. My top 3 dishes included the eggs with fried diced potatoes and muxama (smoked tuna), the Octo Dog (octopus hot dog) and the tuna prego sandwich. The fresh oysters were also excellent. Excellent!
