The restaurant is beautiful, has kind of modern romantic feel to it. I had tuna tartare with strawberries (18e) that blew my mind. I never heard about this before. Then I had a salmon with some vegetables (20e). It was good, but kind of boring - salmon, with a bit of zucchini, tomatos and olives. no spices or salt. Very healthy. I had tiramisu (7e) at the end. Same as salmon - not bad, but not surprising either. A lot of cream, with a bit of "dowgh" at the bottom of the glass.

10/10We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious, and the ambiance was so beautiful that we couldn't resist turning the place into our own little photo shoot location. The staff were not only extremely friendly but also gave us amazing recommendations that made choosing what to eat both easier and harder at the same time – everything sounded so good! We felt so welcome and comfortable that it was honestly hard to leave. One thing is for sure: if we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely be coming again!

9.5/10My wife and I visited this restaurant tonight. The service was fast, helpful and friendly. We very much enjoyed the food. Simple, but good. Started with a pear, Gorgonzola and walnuts followed by chicken in a cream sauce and beef in a red wine sauce. Extensive wine list. Reasonable price for Rome. Enjoyable night.

Food was underwhelming. Aperol Spritz was 8€ on menu charged €9. Didn't get fork discount until we asked . Was disappointed- heard such great things and luckily dined with great friends

10/10The food quality was exceptional. The service from the team of guys in there was excellent including the cocktail bar. Our table service was exceptional from our Brazilian friend. 10/10 would strongly recommend this venue to anyone in the area

9/10The service was friendly and prompt. The servers knew English better than I knew Italian which was great. I liked that they had green salads on the menu because sometimes you need some salad. The gnocchi with mussels was delicious but Gricia with artichokes and crispy guanciale was too salty.

5.5/10Reading the reviews I expected more. They were setting up for valentines night when we arrived at 1830 for our booking. We were rushed through stuck in a corner and if I’m honest we’re made to feel like we were in the way. Honestly a shame as it looked like a lovely places and I expect everyone who arrived later had a great time. Unfortunately that was not my experience and the service did not live up to what you would normally get at a family owned restaurant in Rome.

10/10I’m not sure how we stumbled upon this charming and delicious restaurant but we would highly recommend. It is cozy, welcoming and not too tightly packed, not easy to find in Rome! The menus was eclectic and each one of our dishes were some of the best we’ve had in Italy! Must have the house red and the calamari!

10/10We had a such a great meal at Margot. They were so kind to us and our young children despite the restaurant being very elegant and maybe not the place you'd always bring kids. The food was delicious, the ambiance was lovely and we'd love to go back any time we get the privilege of being in Rome again.

After a long day of sightseeing, my wife and I celebrated our first time in Italy- the country of her fathers birth. We ate at 6pm- nobody in the restaurant just us. So we sat and watched staff preparing for Friday guests. Attention to detail-excellent. Friendly waiter-excellent. Food, excellent excellent. I wish we could have eaten later with the restaurant full of happy people eating great Italian food-the vibe would have contributed to our overall experience but tired and hungry won out. As for prices-very reasonable for the quality of both food/wine. There are so many eating opportunities in Rome- I would highly suggest Margot- you won’t be disappointed with the food or service-excellent on both.

9.5/10Great spot right in the middle of Prati neighbourhood! Terric service and absolutely delicious. We sat outside as it was our first time in the area - I suspect it is even more enjoyable sitting inside!

6.5/10The bar tender was sick so they had a waiter making drinks and they were terrible. They had to ask us how to make a dirty martini. I got a steak dish and it was a very chewy and fatty cut of meat. It should have been cooked much longer.

5/10We were excited to try this place for our last night visiting Rome—unfortunately, the service was absolutely terrible. We were seated outside on the patio a little before the main dinner rush. Server offered drinks before we even had menus, then when we asked for a minute he abandoned us for about 20. Finally I flagged him down and we got drinks. We ordered a pear / walnut salad to share — it was okay. My husband had the tuna pasta and I had the amatricano, Both were good—the issue was the service. Servers were frantically running around the whole time - we had one drink and had to flag them down to order a second, then again because we had no cutlery, then again to get the bill (I actually got up to go find our server two of the times because we waited so long for him to remember we existed). When they finally brought the bill, it was not ours — but another table’s and about double to cost. We asked them to correct it and they went into another frantic run around (and we waited again for them to try and sort it out (not sure why they couldn’t just apologize and reprint). Then another random server brought over a calculator and randomly punched in a number. We asked to see an actual bill and when that finally appeared it was lower than the number on the calculator. Very odd experience overall, killed the vibe of our last night unfortunately although we could find some humour in it. The food was okay but suggest steering clear as this restaurant seems to be very poorly run. Servers are inexperienced and food is mediocre but not worth the pain.

9/10We visited here on a 1st anniversary trip to Rome. It was just a short walk from where we were staying. The place is subterranean (although there is seating outside on street level). Lovely atmosphere & decorated beautifully inside. Plenty of tables in a smallish area. The service was warm & attentive. We had Francesco wait on us. He was charming, informative & ‘very’ funny too, adding to our meal experience. The food was faultless. Our ‘appetisers’ were surprisingly large & very tasty, as was all the food we chose. Would definitely recommend this place. Thank you for a lovely experience.

6/10Nice looking restaurant with pretty decor however we had to wait 15 mins before we even got the menu. The food was not great. The cacio e Pepe was incredibly salty and we’ve had better carbonara. The barolo beef was also drowned in a plate full of vinegar sauce which ruined it. Would not return or recommend

6/10I ordered a bottle of wine for a max of 25 euros and got a bottle charged for 39 and was told they would make up… When you are a tall person, the lack of space can be suffocating… Food is good.
