I have visit Mari a few times now and both the food and service are consistently excellent. Each dish is prepared freshly in the open kitchen so you can watch it being made in front of you if you choose the right table. The flavour combinations are different and really good. The menu is unique compared to anything else I have found in Parma and that is what makes the place special.

Chosen at random because we didn’t want a long walk from our nearby hotel on a dank and foggy night, and the menu looked interesting. An open kitchen and modern, well-spaced seating. Service professional and informative. Cooking of a very high standard. Excellent focaccia . Good use of fresh ingredients and modern flavour combinations. Interesting wines at reasonable prices (though we do think ABV should be indicated on the wine list; we don’t usually select a 14.5).

Great new restaurant if you like eating something different. We loved the open kitchen and the explanations about the restaurant, food and wine. Very friendly staff and beautiful modern styling.

Very smart restaurant with top class food and service. This is a new venture and deserves to succeed. Well thought out, well presented giving a most enjoyable experience.
