We arrived at 8.20pm (we were 2 people). There were a couple of empty tables, the other diners mainly ordered drinks or a single dish. At 8.30pm we order an appetizer to share (a cheese plate with focaccia) and a hamburger each. After a couple of reminders, the cheeses arrived at 9.17pm (47 minutes of waiting for 3 small cheeses, one of which the slices were almost transparent, I regret not having taken a photo, and 4 pieces of focaccia). Meanwhile the place was emptying and there were only more people drinking cocktails. I would like to point out that the staff was made up of 1 barman, 2/3 waitresses (it was not clear if one of them was one of the owners) and at least 3 people in the kitchen. The main course (a hamburger with chips!) arrived after another 40 minutes (so at 10pm, a full 1 hour and 30 minutes after ordering!): the bread was cold and my hamburger, which should have been cooked medium-rare, was overcooked. To apologize for the delay they offered ONE dessert to share between two (which they also served to my boyfriend because he had finished first, without waiting for me to finish too and maybe putting it in the center!). When we go to pay (last but not least) they show us the bill without deducting a voucher that I had (already deducted from me at the time of booking) and they only did it after my request. I concluded by saying that the main door remained open the entire time (it was the end of December!), so much so that most people were wearing their jackets/coats, while the heating (clearly useless) was on at 25 degrees!

We had an excellent experience at Maria Escandalosa. The food was exquisite, delicious; the service, fantastic! The host is very friendly and welcoming. We felt like it was a beautiful night on the town.

They have a little problem with the synchronization of plates ordered. Takes too long between one from another. I believe is the kitchen that has to be more prepared and have more coordination. For the rest, good food, nice hosts and very Cousy ambience. Just organize the delivery of the food much better aligned and do not make customers wait too long.

FUn and theatrical restaurant! The drinks are amazingly crafted and beautiful. It was a little tricky to understand come of the English menu as we didnt know what we we ordering was actually a burger- made with beef. BUT- it was probably the best burger Ive ever had in my life! Fries tasted fresh not frozen out of a bag. A well needed break from pasta seafood for 2 of us. The 3rd- stuck with the mermaid seafood dish ans was also happy with their choice, wnjoying the dinner! Decor may be a little cheesy and over the top- but its fun, funky, and light hearted theatrical atmosphere was charming as well. We wish we knew who some of the pictures were on the wall- and why they were chosen.

Great restaurant! Very nice food (try the mushroom for starter and tuna for main). Prices are not cheap, but almost ok. Amazing service and cool environment (well decorated).

I was delighted to visit a Brazilian restaurant in Lisbon/Portugal. The food was excellent and had a marvellous mix of flavours from the Brazilian and Portuguese cuisines. The staff were very friendly and made me, my mum and my little dog (maltipoo) feel very welcome.

Amazing food, entries and main course. For desert I had the Chocolat experience and although was amazingly tasteful was a lot to take ????. Sharing would have been a good option. Super intimist ambience, decor and staff super friendly. Really good surprise
