Simply perfect! Great food, nice staff and a beautiful location! We had Entrecote and Reindeer Steak, both perfectly done!

We were greeted on arrival and taken to our table. The waiter service was very good and staff were more than polite. The food was very tasty and we didn't have to wait too long after ordering. All went down with a very nice drop Wine. Overall.....A lovely meal in a lovely restaurant, served by lovely polite staff.

Great place to have dinner in the city"s "old town". Meals were not only delicious but also presented in quite sylish manner. Staff were kind and helpful. It was too cozy to leave and I spend more than three hous there with two of my friends. In short, I really enjoyed the restaurant !! Thank you !!

Came here for my birthday dinner with family. The staff was incredibly nice and food was amazing. They were even able to accommodate my aunt with special dietary restrictions. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone coming into Old Town Stockholm. Thanks for a great evening out!

We were in Stockholm on my birthday so were looking for a place to have a celebratory meal. As we don't have a great knowledge of the Stockholm restaurant scene, we had to take this on trust. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent, the service all that could be wished for and, in short, I cannot imagine a better place to have celebrated my birthday.

The food was beautiful. We had the charcuterie board for 2 to start, very nice, good quantity. For mains had fillet of reindeer but this dish is very small, you need twice as much meat. We were not full. For dessert I had apple strudel, but it was Just 1cm thick and hardly there at all, very disappointing so I ordered a second dessert, chocolate fondant which was lovely and more satisfying. My husband had the cheese board for 1, which was very large, a lot of cheese. Great food and service but their portions are all over the place.

The food and ambience was really good. The service as well, when it was present. Unfortunately, the service went into hiding for some time and we had to go get them.

We were looking for the reindeer meat and we found this restaurant very close to the stop Gamla Stan. The dish was very good, apart from the uncooked vegetables, but what left us disappointed is the poor service. Price is a bit expensive even compared to the local standard, but we understand it’s a special meat we can’t have at home. The reservation we had was honored, but after seating at an empty table, we had to ask for the menu - no one was caring about bring it to us. Again, when it was time to order, we patiently waited for other 10/15 minutes before being able to have a waiter attention. The reindeer plate arrived 40 minutes after the order, and again, because my disappointment was noticed by the man who looked like to be the manager. Probably it was a bad evening for the staff, but we were tired to wait and renounced to the dessert.

I like to have a dinner in this restaurant whenever my family come to visit me here in Stockholm. I like the atmosphere, food and service, the grilled fish plate was delicious.

I will not eat here again! I had not been to Mårten Trotsig restaurant in Gamla Stan, Stockholm for many years and was very dissatisfied. Our waiter was incompetent, our soup arrived cold and had to sent back to be warmed (it was not a cold soup!), they didn’t have the wine we ordered and substituted another which was not good. This has become a tourist restaurant where it seems that they don’t expect or want people to come back to.

I always find this place so cozy and nice. The service is amazing, and the food is delicious! And even if it is located right downtown, the price is very good.

Nice venue, outstanding food and good wine. The toast skagen was lovely, and the deer and beef were both cooked to perfection. Will come here again.

Nice restaurant, bit on the tourist-y side, but then again: It's the old town. Nice food and setting. Free tip: Steer clear of the noisy yard and stay in the main restaurant. The Jerusalem artichoke soup is a hit. Carpaccio is a dud. The filet mignon was a bit on the dry side and was a tad unevenly cooked. Fish dishes are on point.

Tried the lamb dish and it was a truly exquisite experience, in every single bite. The staff was very friendly and we sat in the garden that made the summer evening dining in the restaurant worthwhile.

We had dinner here and had a lovely evening. I ordered the reindeer meat and my wife got the lamb. They were very delicious. The staff were kind and helpful. The atmosphere in the inner garden was really nice. I would recommend this place.

Wonderful ambiance. Sat in the court yard and had great service. Super food on a hot summer’s evening during the pandemic. Well placed tables and generally a great meal.

We has a good dining experience and the wait staff were great. They were attentive and caring with a great attitude. The food was good and the indoor/outdoor courtyard dining area was nice.

Really good restaurant! The food is good, the price is correct. I went to this restaurant with someone that just speaks French and the waiter came and translate everything to french for her and gave tips. He was very sympathetic and thanks to him we had a great experience at this restaurant. Thank you again !!

The chef had gone, so we didn’t tried anything.. Maître asked if we wanted any of their cold dishes, but we didn’t. We just wanted to have a dinner there!!!

Really good.Both the fish and meat dishes are really tasty as well as the desserts. Service is remarkably reliable. All these are in the old town where the atmosphere is really romantic.
