10/10Great place to have dinner in the city"s "old town". Meals were not only delicious but also presented in quite sylish manner. Staff were kind and helpful. It was too cozy to leave and I spend more than three hous there with two of my friends. In short, I really enjoyed the restaurant !! Thank you !!

10/10Came here for my birthday dinner with family. The staff was incredibly nice and food was amazing. They were even able to accommodate my aunt with special dietary restrictions. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone coming into Old Town Stockholm. Thanks for a great evening out!

10/10We were in Stockholm on my birthday so were looking for a place to have a celebratory meal. As we don't have a great knowledge of the Stockholm restaurant scene, we had to take this on trust. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent, the service all that could be wished for and, in short, I cannot imagine a better place to have celebrated my birthday.

9/10The food was beautiful. We had the charcuterie board for 2 to start, very nice, good quantity. For mains had fillet of reindeer but this dish is very small, you need twice as much meat. We were not full. For dessert I had apple strudel, but it was Just 1cm thick and hardly there at all, very disappointing so I ordered a second dessert, chocolate fondant which was lovely and more satisfying. My husband had the cheese board for 1, which was very large, a lot of cheese. Great food and service but their portions are all over the place.

4.5/1045 minutes at the table without any kind of service. When we ordered wine, we were told it was not available, but we were offered at the same price a better wine! This turned out to be a cheap alternative and was deemed to disappoint upon tasting. When we told him so, he left the table never to return (except for vary hasty servings of dishes). Another servant replaced him and provided enough service to avoid what we were about to: Leave the restaurant....We would recommend that you look for another restaurant when you visit Stockholm

2/10So busy that the staff was so stressed out and customers competed with each otjer on free tables. After waiting for our reservation for 10 minutes we left. Too little staff, too many reservations.

10/10Amazing and delicious food right in the heart of Gamla stan. Not surprised they have lasted almost 15 years in such a densely populated area with so many other restaurants. The food was first class and beyond what we expected. One of the best pepper steaks that we have eaten in YEARS. Very friendly and welcoming owner & staff at this family owned business and we would recommend and come back in a heart beat. 10/10

10/10Great Swedish restaurant in the old town. Marten Trotzig has been here for years and it’s easy to see why… good food, good wine and great staff… always friendly and attentive

8/10We were looking for the reindeer meat and we found this restaurant very close to the stop Gamla Stan. The dish was very good, apart from the uncooked vegetables, but what left us disappointed is the poor service. Price is a bit expensive even compared to the local standard, but we understand it’s a special meat we can’t have at home. The reservation we had was honored, but after seating at an empty table, we had to ask for the menu - no one was caring about bring it to us. Again, when it was time to order, we patiently waited for other 10/15 minutes before being able to have a waiter attention. The reindeer plate arrived 40 minutes after the order, and again, because my disappointment was noticed by the man who looked like to be the manager. Probably it was a bad evening for the staff, but we were tired to wait and renounced to the dessert.

4.5/10I will not eat here again! I had not been to Mårten Trotsig restaurant in Gamla Stan, Stockholm for many years and was very dissatisfied. Our waiter was incompetent, our soup arrived cold and had to sent back to be warmed (it was not a cold soup!), they didn’t have the wine we ordered and substituted another which was not good. This has become a tourist restaurant where it seems that they don’t expect or want people to come back to.

8/10Nice restaurant, bit on the tourist-y side, but then again: It's the old town. Nice food and setting. Free tip: Steer clear of the noisy yard and stay in the main restaurant. The Jerusalem artichoke soup is a hit. Carpaccio is a dud. The filet mignon was a bit on the dry side and was a tad unevenly cooked. Fish dishes are on point.
