We had an unplanned dinner here. Nestled in one of the quieter streets near Capitole, Masala palace was a nice place for us to have a family dinner. The service was very helpful and we even got a couple of cocktails on the house. If you are up to trying authentic Indian food, make sure you mention you want it medium spicy as otherwise it might be bland. The veg biryani , chicken momos and paneer makhani were a stand out. We also really liked the mixed tandoori grill (lamb, chicken, prawns) and it had the right amount of smokiness. The nans were freshly made! Overall a delicious meal here , nice nostalgic music and great service!

Had 3 curry’s with rice were 2 of them were good, but a vegetable curry came a bit undercooked with hard veggies. Other than that service was pretty good and quick and place was good

In spite of calling ahead, they had very limited vegan options. (no vegan breads) The service was very slow and haphazard. They offered free drinks to make up for it, but we are not going back.
