8/10Food was good, nice portions. Lamb in all dishes tender. Garlic naan excellent. Small place, good service. Super location. Quality place. Gin and tonics generous!

9/10Nice little restaurant in the center of Leuven with an outstanding PQR. Fresh and healthy asian meals that go along great with the Indian beer, Cobra. Very pleasant to sit on the terrace, since it's located just outside the very busy part of Leuven.

5.5/10Friendly staff but food was disapppointing especially since it was quite pricy. It came really quickly but it was not warm and not very tasty. The mango lassi was the best part of our order.

6.5/10First of all, we were asked to come to the owners other restaurant nearby - no problem for us. The main course was very good, but the dessert was disappointing: it came straight out of the freezer, which made it very hard to eat. The fresh mint tea was just a cup of hot water with a few mint leaves floating atop.

7/10Very good food for a very fair price. however the service was not very good: the waiters took a long time to take our order. The interior design/decoration of the restaurant is a bit grim.

8.5/10There was also dining a very big group in this small restaurant, which resulted in us not able to understand each other anymore, or to have a calm meal. Apart from this, we had an excellent dinner :).

6.5/10I enjoyed quite a good meal with my wife at Massalatop for New year's eve. The service was pretty fast, the food was great and we even got a drink on the house to celebrate the new year. While the personnel certainly was friendly, there were some issues with the seating. Despite the fact that the restaurant was near empty and we made reservations, we were assigned a table right next to the door, with a chilling draft as a result every time someone opened the door. Additionally, our table neighbours, a group of six, were pretty noisy. Another table would certainly have been appreciated.

9/10Nice restaurant, just blocks from the old City Hall. Everyone in the family thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The kids had Tandoori (IMHO the lamb was better than the chicken, but both were good), we also had the Vindaloo with chicken and lamb - just the right amount of spicy for my taste. Highly recommend!

9.5/10Masalatop is one of the most recommended restaurants in Leuven and I now know why. Its not big and when we were there it was full and noisy, but the food and service made up for any inconvenience we felt in hardly being able to hear ourselves speak. My wife and I shared dishes which included the Masalatop mixed starter, chicken tikka masala, prawn tikka masala and Peshwari nan bread. We also a couple of beers and glasses of wine. The bill came to €88, which we found reasonable. Can certainly recommend Masalatop to anyone who enjoys good Indian food.

10/10A lovely welcome when we arrived and food that was superbly spiced and cooked. We asked for something not on the menu and the chef produced it to a T. Delicious, fairly priced and lovely atmosphere. Will return
