9.5/10Great service, staff were super attentive and welcoming. Lovely authentic no nonsense Italian food at sensible prices. Whats not to love. The kids loved the pizza and bolognese as well as the fabulous starters. Garlic bread was so garlicky which we love! . Highly recommended to get away from some of the over priced rubbish in the centre of town.

8/10The food was good and the server nice but my sisters meal came out well after my cousins and mine. The meal was supposed to come with dessert and lemoncello.. but we never received that either and the charge stayed the same. Overall it was a plesant experience but not steller. They were not busy, so I was expecting better service.

4/10We ordered broccoli as a side dish. It was clearly cooked from frozen and was water-logged and mushy beyond edibility. Service was very slow compared to other tables around us. Took a long time to take our order and then quite some time to bring out the food. There were only two of us. Three tables of two changed over and were served before we got our food. The reviews I read online sound like they are for a different restaurant. Without question it was our least enjoyable meal in Sorrento.

5/10I did not enjoy the food at all. The pizza was soggy, the carbonara was a lil dry and flavorless. The service was pretty slow and it was very crowded.

2/10The worst meal and service in 40 years of dining. Tasteless seafood spaghetti, pizza ok. People terrible, 15+ minutes to get me menu, 10 more for water. Pizza came no plates , bead no plates half though pizza 1 plate almost done second plate. Inside hot even though we had reservations for outside. Just bad all ground after every other meal in Italy be very good or better. Sad stay away

4.5/10Maybe I just got unlucky, but the food was terrible - I ordered the lasagna and it was small and cold and underwhelming all round. The service was bad for the majority which I wasn’t bothered by but worth mentioning for those more particular (server on the phone to someone as they seated us etc.). Worth noting my partner’s chicken salad was equally very poor compared to the other lovely budget spots we’d found in Italy.

2/10We picked this restaurant as it came up as No1 on trip advisor for pizza restaurants in Sorrento. It was terrible from the minute we walked in till we left The food was way below what we expected & the staff barely conversed with us. The only plus was the price but we still felt the cheap price we paid was too much for awful food

10/10The most amazing experience!! The restaurant is super cute and local. Prices were amazing. The most affordable you will find in Sorrento. And the food was spectacular, everything tasted so so so amazing!!! Very Italian local vibe. And the owner at the end, Antonio, was super kind!my boyfriend and I got free limoncello shots. An unforgettable experience, we will definitely return multiple times again on our trip!!

6/10We ordered waited an hour but no food arrived. People who came in after us received there food quicker. When I complained the lady was very apologetic then we got our starter and then our mains before we had finished. I dare not send it back so just went with it. It was a busy evening all in all the food was actually really good we just had a bad experience with the wait time.

10/10The waiters greeted us at the door and we sat outside next to their jasmine bush which smelt amazing. We got typical pub chips to start and the house wine which is also really nice and good value. The pizzas were delicious and great value. The service was fast and they were very hospitable I would definitely come back again.

9.5/10Really difficult to do this fantastic restaurant justice in a short review. The food is delicious with generous portions and the prices are phenomenal. If you’re in Sorrento, I really can’t imagine why you would eat anywhere else. A family of four can have drinks and two delicious courses for under €50. One of the better restaurants I have been to

10/10We went to master hosts basted on the positive reviews it had and also it’s proximity to our hotel. I had read a few negative reviews so was alert to sone of the issues others had raised however our experience was nothing but excellent. My partner is gluten free so that’s why we often look up places on trip adviser to see if they have GF options as well as their overall review. We were warmly greeted in the restaurant which had circa 6 tables already eating. Our drinks order was taken and promptly arrived and when we enquired about gluten free options it was explained both their pasta and pizza can be made GF as well as many other options. We had a cold meat antipasti which we shared which was plentiful and very tasty. We both chose pizza as our main course (we could see many others had ordered pizza and they looked great as well as others coming in for pizza takeaway) the pizzas didn’t disappoint and were excellent. Gluten free pizzas are normally small, more expensive and bland however my partners was far from that and she said it was one of the best she had ever had! We finished off with a couple of desserts from the display which were also very tasty. and by this time the restaurant was full. Whilst we were there we heard many others compliment the food and we left impressed with this restaurant, very full and only it only cost €40 (including tip) which is pretty good for Sorrento. We had a starter and garlic bread (not GF), 2 x pizza, 2 x desserts and 2x drinks so great value and a great experience. plus a couple of limoncello”s on the house ☺️ Yes there was a bloke outside trying to get people to come in but my opinion this is a restaurant owner putting in additional effort and expense to try and make his restaurant successful and survive in these difficult times. Yes it’s next to a road but we sat inside and didn’t notice any noise. We took the positive reviews and were conscious of the less than positive things that had been said and our experience was extremely positive. We tend to try different places to eat when we are away but may well head back here during the rest of our stay as we know it’s “a banker”. I would highly recommend Master Hosts on the experience we had
