7/10Although it had a lot of promise, the food was a bit too salty for my liking. Had the carbonara with guanciale, I think they have oversalted the pasta. My husband had the saltimbocca and it was also oversalted. It was ok at the beginning but it got quite salty towards the end and it was just disappointing, it was ok but barely edible at the end. Had better pasta elsewhere in Rome.

10/10Fantastic dining at this casual active restaurant. The staff is very friendly and works to make sure everyone is happy. There are several wines by the glass options. The artichoke appetizer, the special pasta with artichoke and bacon, and the tiramisu were all tasty and well prepared. None were so rich you could not eat them as has been the case at some restaurants.

10/10So friendly, so easily walkable from Piazza Navona, food was so great. Not a pizzeria but was best pizza we had in Rome.

8/10Good portion. Vongole was good, but we found the carbonate a tad too rich for our palette. The beef fillet was so tender and the mizsrella cheese balls one of our favourites.

9.5/10A high quality osteria a hundred meters from Museo di Roma. Welcoming staff, pleasant environment, good food, (mostly traditional recipes). Our waitperson spoke excellent English and made a lot of good suggestions. We greatly enjoyed our dinner there. Just off a main street, becomes very busy during peak dining hours so reservation is probably a must.

10/10The food was delicious and service outstanding! I heard about the recommendation from an Italy travel page and was not disappointed. My husband had the mussel pasta dish and I had the carbonara with the best meatballs I’ve ever had.

10/10We arrived late afternoon to the restaurant. They were not busy and accommodating. About 10 minutes after we were seated the construction crew outside started up their equipment and my seat rumbled. The waiter realized the inconvenience and asked us to return in 15 minutes. We’re glad we did!! Not only did we have the restaurant to ourselves, the service was excellent and so was the food. We enjoyed an order of suppli, salad, pasta carbonara and ravioli. For dessert, tiramisu. Our final meal in Italy was excellent.

2.5/10Utterly disappointing! With all the amazing reviews I am not sure what happened. The only thing that was good was the wine and that’s bottled. The fettuccine and lasagna was so over cooked and mushy. The lasagna had to have been leftover from last night and reheated in the microwave. It was horrible. A frozen lasagna would have been better. They tried to charge us after we returned the lasagna. Never again.

10/10This was our first night in Rome and our first meal together. We made a reservation since we were a family of 8. The food was wonderful, the staff very friendly and accommodating, and the vibe was fun. We all enjoyed our meals. Highly recommend!

10/10We had a wonderful at this delightful family-run ristorante. The staff were attentive, understanding, and went out of their way to help when needed. This made the night out with family and enjoyable and memorable occasions. Highlights were the oxtail, mussels and clams, and amazing profiterole!

8/10We had visited this restaurant last year and enjoyed that so sought to repeat the experience.The food is good and we particularly enjoyed our pasta dishes and roast lamb with potatoes. We also had tirimisiu which was good but lacked the punch of alcohol in the base. There is a good range of dishes in staters,primi,secondi and also sides and salads.There are also pinsi which are a type of focaccia pizza.The restaurant is attractive and is very busy and is in a busy area with other restaurants.There is a quick turnover of customers and the staff are efficient.It was less busy when we visited last and I think we enjoyed that visit better as we had a more relaxed experience.The dessert variety is a little disappointing but that is the same in many restaurants.

10/10Small family owned restaurant with very friendly and fast service and absolutely delicious, freshly prepared food. We loved the suppli, stuffed zucchini blossoms, saltimbocca, cacio e pepe, and burrata and tomato bruschetta. Reservations are absolutely necessary at peak times - there was not an empty seat in the house!

9.5/10This is how I would assume a typical Italian restaurant to be. My family and I enjoyed it very much. The suppli and the house speciality gnocchi with guanciale are highly recommended. I only wish I had tried more of their dishes.

8/10Food was excellent. Seafood salad very fresh with clams mussels and squid. Their gnocchi in oxtail sauce and bacala are delicious. The bruschetta is also ok. We had profiteroles and cherry cake. The desserts are subpar.

9.5/10We had a very good experience, the food was very good, there was something for everyone on the menu - antipasto, pasta, pizza, meats, seafood etc.. they were kind enough to pack up the pizza (pinsa) that my daughter could not finish to go. I would recommend this restaurant for an authentic Rome meal.

7/10We made reservations based on Trip Advisor reviews. This was our fourth dinner out on vacation in Rome. Food was good overall but disappointed in pressure by server to order more expensive options. Family members had oxtails with gnocchi (very good), gnocchi with tomato sauce, mussels (very good) , and ravioli with tomato sauce (good but not as good as pasta at other restaurant for less expensive price). We tried to order focaccia for a starter (not on starter menu but on menu) and we were told no, need to get bruschetta (more expensive) instead. We have one who does not eat meat and one who does not eat cheese, and just wanted starter bread. We were also told not to order house red but to order more expensive different wine. We went along with it but felt pressured not to order less expensive options. If it is not good, why is it on your menu? Food was good, but we did not feel as welcome as we did while eating

7.5/10I ordered the homemade spaghetti seafood and bruschetta pomadoro which was excellent My wife ordered the eggplant parmigiana which was mushy and cool (not hot), the server brought another and it was hot but was turned off by its soupy wet appearance and tasted bland. The server and manager discounted the meal and we were satisfied somewhat with their effort and offering of some lemon cello.

10/10My mom and I had dinner here and loved everything! The service was warm and friendly and the food was delicious. We had a reservation but arrived early and they seated us right away. We shared the Suppli, Amatriciana pizza, tiramisu and semifredo. The pizza was so good with the guanciale! The tiramisu was light and more custard than sponge, and the semifredo was delicious hazelnut and boozy. I loved the small size of the desert so that we could try two.

10/10My family of 4 went here for dinner after receiving recommendations. This was a perfect choice for us. The food was perfect and the ambiance was casual. Just what we wanted. The La Campagnola salad was excellent and large enough to share. Great price and attentive service.
