9.5/10Food was exquisite. Whe had two raggu pasta for the kids, a parpadelle with zucchini pesto and shrimp tartare, a beef stew a grilled vegetables. It was so much food! So good! And pay 56€!! The waiter was so nice, but shu actually forgot we ordered 2 aperol spritz at the very beginning and never got them.

10/10We were welcomed very nice and the food was amazing. Also despite the central location, the restaurant didn’t have a lot of tourists and the prices were pretty decent. I definitely recommend this place!

10/10Very good restaurant, excellent service and food. The gnocchi and the risotto were amazing! If you are in Florence and wanna eat in a good restaurant, Mattacéna is the place.

10/10The server explained the appetizers well, and we tried a few. Our meals comprised bistecca and mixed carne and were very tasty. We liked the Chianti rufino. Comfortable place on a hot day!!

7/10The chicken was overcooked and very bitter. I informed the waiter about the situation and thought I could either get a refund or have the dish replaced. But the waiter only said she would inform the chef and then there was no further response. The other dishes and the environment are decent, so I would give it 4 stars.
