It sounds like a really enjoyable dining experience! Fried food paired with pizza is already satisfying, but adding bamboo shoots as a topping is a nice touch—bamboo shoots have such a crisp texture, and I can imagine how they would complement the cheese and sauce on the pizza. Dining outdoors, chatting and eating at a leisurely pace, sounds like the perfect way to unwind. What kind of setting were you in? Was it a cozy café in a little alley, or perhaps an outdoor space with greenery? The atmosphere must have made it even more memorable.

9.5/10I was worried about the notorious(kidding) fame of bistecca florentina like how chewy they could be, but this restaurant totally broke my wrong bias. T-bone was perfect and risotto/pasta were also countable in my trip.

We had a family lunch there and everyone enjoyed their meal. Very welcoming place and very interesting menu. Gluten free options are available. I particularly liked the olive oil - it is so aromatic!

10/10I have booked at the very last minute. The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is a typical Italian trattoria. Food is delicious, and the selection on the menu, since the restaurant is not huge, is impressive. I reccommend the restaurant.

We arrived at 10pm and the staff (old French lady) didn’t know we booked via the app (the restaurant offered booking until 10:30pm the latest) and was very unfriendly to us. Almost didn’t want to let us in. The Florentine steak was very tough in texture. Could be better. Put your manners back in, old lady!

5/10Cover charge for my wife and I came out to 7€. The service was okay. Food, not that great. My wife and I both ordered pasta with meat sauce. Didn't like it. My tortelli pasta came filled with cheese, that did not hit the spot. The meat sauce didn't taste that great, and meat was kind of tough. Something to note. Promotion does not work on half servings.

10/10This is a terrific little place in one of Florence’s little hard/to-figure-out alleys, and it was wonderful! The steak Florentine was perfect and so was the wine and the service. It was a lovely and reasonably-priced happy first evening in our new favourite city!

We went to this Trattoria inspired by the many good reviews on the platform. We ordered two "primi", as we saw the freshly made pasta and we wanted to try it. My wife's dish was ok, despite the portion was smaller than a typical trattoria, while mine was definitely "poco condito": it was advertised as pasta with shrimps, but it came with it's been served with than a spoon of shrimps; after 2 bites I had to eat a simple dish of pasta with pesto. Not worth the price. Then it comes the dessert: my wife gets a tiramisu, probably made for tourists who have no clue on what to expect, 90% mascarpone, almost no savoiardi, coffee barely present. I took a "dessert of the day"... It was advertised as a chocolate cake with mascarpone cream, but in reality it was a Christmas pandoro filled with chocolate cream, modified to appear as a cake. Possibly a commercial pandoro going to expire in June after not being used for Christmas and resold as a home made cake. We had better than this in Florence.

2.5/10If you’re thinking of going here because it has a discount and you’re not sure what restaurant to pick in Florence? Please look elsewhere, the bread was stale, charged 7 euro each to sit, the steak was less than to be desired and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant on a Saturday night. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but want to help other people who are in the same situation. Unsure why this restaurant is reviewed so highly.

Delicious food, great atmosphere. The service could be improved. 15 people waiting but there was no one during the dinner and towards the end to attend us and we had to get the menu ourselves for dessert. At first, one server said that certain desserts were not available. Later on, the other server came to us and when asked, she confirmed the availability and we had to change our orders. The food and desserts were very delicious and relatively cheap if booked through The Fork.
