The restaurant is on a vibrant corner in the city. They have a broad enough menu to satisfy everyone’s needs. Staff was lovely and the food was good.

The food was good, but not exceptional. We arrived on time, but our orders were not taken for 20 minutes, and we were asked to leave 90 minutes after arriving - we knew that our reservation was for 90 minutes but if that was to be enforced, our orders should have been taken more promptly. Some items were cold when they were served and had to be returned to be reheated.

really slow and bad service with average food .
MaurizioHello, Yen Ong. Thanks for your review on the kitchen and the service. After a debriefing with the staff, you seemed to be really rude with them, impatient and not polite at all. You didn't precised that you wanted a table outside and they found it for you, even on a mother's day! Please, try to be more comprehensive on the work of our staff. Maurizio and his staff were wonderful. They were welcoming and attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. Anastasia, our server, was sweet and efficient. A truly great experience.

Cute place with very good food. We split the charcuterie and salad and the truffle pizza (tartuffo) and both were excellent. We ate outside which was lovely. A great first night in Aix!

We visited twice while in Aix…it was that good. The pasta dishes were delicious. Desserts were interesting and presented beautifully. Service was friendly and attentive.

The dinner was perfect. Nice place to eat outside. A good choice of dishes. The food and drinks ste a little bit expensive for Aix, but I certainly can recommend this place. We have eaten here 2 times. Do we liked it!

An exquisite location on the harbour. Fabulous sea food. One of the best meals I have had in a long time.

We had such a lovely dinner at Maurizio! The food was excellent - delicious starters with a Burrata tomato salad and a jambon and melon plate. We both ordered the Penne with Bolognese at the waiter’s recommendation, and it was outstanding. Our dessert of fresh berries on pastry with crème fraîche was also outstanding. We sat in their lovely outside area and the service was very busy but great. Absolutely loved Maurizio.

Spending holiday with husband in Provence. Pinsa was delicious, crunchy crust. Rigatoni sauce was superb with natural tomatoes. Service, atmosphere, location was perfect.

Got a nice table on the little square next to the fountain. Had a lovely dinner with our 7-person party and enjoyed a nice wine, the southern ambiance and especially the super service. The speciality of the house was a real treat.

Super nice food along with great service in a nice part of town. We where a big group of 15 and some people had to leave early. It was all handled very smoothly

A wonderful romantic dinner beside a fountain in Aix en Provence. Great service, fresh ingredients, amazing ambience. This was a highlight of our trip to Provence.

After walking by the restaurant several times we finally made reservations and were not disappointed! Friendly service, amazing food, and of course lovely ambience.

High quality Italian food in a beautiful setting. The restaurant was very busy but the service was consistent and very good. We had a great time and would definitely visit again.

Our party of 8 (4 couples) found Maurizio to be a very good Italian restaurant in the heart of France. The charcuterie and pasta were very tasty. It was a lovely evening and we sat outside around the fountain which, unfortunately, was not functioning due to the dry spell in Aix-en-Provence (not the restaurant's fault.) It was a nice dinner with attentive service and good Italian food. I would recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for a change of pace from French restaurants.

A beautiful outdoor plaza with a fountain, warm and friendly service, and delicious and satisfying Italian food—what more could we want for a lovely dinner out in Aix.

The food and service were amazing. We’ve had a lot of salmon in France, but the preparation at this restaurant was our favorite! The atmosphere was great, and our waitress did an excellent job tonight.

Excellent Italian restaurant in Aix-en-Provence, the owner is very passionate about his food and you can tell! The service is top notch. Would recommend!

The night was chilly, but we sat outside with a good heater close by. Our food was terrific and the servers attentive, but not overly so. We’ll be back.
