7/10Meal was delicious. Wait staff forgot about us and wasnt able to order a drink until after appetizers. Waiter would drop and tun, frlt like a burden.

3.5/10Poor service- no one came to ask how our dinner was thorough out the courses! We even had to get up and get someone for Parmigiano cheese ?? Wine was overpriced but great selection. Desert was so so however the local fresh fish was excellent. The pastas were so so. Be aware of the past reviews??

I put that it was my parents anniversary and they did not do anything to celebrate. I also requested outside but when I arrived they refused to let us sit in the outside section. The food was very good otherwise.

9/10Great secluded patio environment below the noise and activity of a bustling Positano. The epitome of the reward for not judging a book by its cover. Don’t look past this gem if you’re in positano. Enjoyed wonderful Spaghetti alla vongole and wine recommendation when the bottle we wanted was no longer available …and the recommendation was actually less expensive, a pleasant surprise and new varietal. So much great art on the walls - everywhere too which is all for sale as well.

6.5/10This place was okay. Was not impressed with the pasta dishes at all. The bread was good. Service was okay. Did not appreciate them saying “ service is not included in the bill “ when they brought us the bill. I wouldn’t tell anyone “ omg you HAVE to go here “ especially when there are so many restaurants in Positano that have a few and this has none.

7/10Smoking. The staff seemed to take turns smoking. Throughout our entire dinner. This ruined our experience. Food was excellent and service was pretty good. But don’t come here if you are a non-smoker.

4.5/10The steak fillet was so chewy that it made me think of Mr. Bean. I put every pite out of my mouth into a napkin. I paid for the fillet and I didn't eat it my main course that day.

6.5/10We went to Max on recommendation. My seafood stew was hands down one of the best seafood meals I have ever had. Inside was pretty but not much character compared to the outdoor seating at other places overlooking the bay and Marina Area. ONE REALLY BIG Turn Off. I ordered a Tanqueray Gin and Tonic, and wife ordered a Limoncello Martini. Folks - each drink was 25 Euros / each. That is ridiculous and really kept us from going back an additional night while in town. We do not mind paying for good food (food was excellent) and but drink prices really kind of spoiled the experience. When we ordered - had no idea that they costed that much. Felt like we got taken advantage of. Same Gin drink at other really nice places at Positano were 10-12 Euros.

8.5/10Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Positano with a beautiful indoor dining room that spilled onto a lovely garden dining area. Enjoyed every course including seafood salad, lasagna, lambchops and veal Milanese. Service on point.

9/10Very good quality dinner! Service a bit slow, especially the youngsters need to learn. The senior waiters know very well the tricks of the trade. The tuna steak was perfeto! Deserts excellent, ambience very nice! A well run venue. And yes, this is not a budget location. Had a good evening! Grazie!

4/10The lobster in the pasta was about the size of 2 US quarters and when we inquired they said...Eh...this is how lobster is...uh, not correct. Good service overall and great atmosphere but avoid the pasta with Lobster.

10/10Absolutely the best fish dishes we ever experienced. Local fresh caught fish with wine, capers, and olives (and I don’t like olives) was the most amazing flavor and tender texture. My wife’s sea bass was also excellent. Complimented with good wine and very lovely environment. Attentive service. This was our last meal in Positano. If we had started at Max, we would have had 4 meals here. 😊

10/10Great service and amazing meals. We ate here twice on our trip because it was so good. We sat outside the first night on the patio and inside the beautiful dining room the second meal. Both were wonderful.

10/10PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT MEAL . Amazing food and service. This place deserves more attention . The best food in the Amalfi coast that we had and is up to par with the best we had during our two week trip in Italy. The pork shank is mesmerizing. The sea bass was cooked to perfection. Amazing hospitality. You must try this place!
