This is a great neighborhood restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine. The owner made us feel welcome, and we dined there several times during our stay in Meta. Highly recommended for a genuine Italian experience.

We ate bruscetta with tomato and zucchini flower as starter, which was really tasty. Our main dish was pasta with tonno and the other dish (we don't know the name, something with pasta and patato) which was also really good. We totally recommend the restaurant!

This is a family run restaurant which is mainly a pizzeria, the front of the restaurant acts as a takeaway service however just to the rear there is a small restaurant, there is also an outdoor eating area. The English speaking staff were extremely attentive and suggestions of food were welcomed. We had the most delicious deep fried Zucchini flowers filled with ricotta cheese and ham and also tasty tomato bruschetta. For mains we had fresh tuna steak with salad and homemade crisps (we forgot that Italians call chips crisps, and fries are British chips). The tuna was cooked to perfection (slightly pink inside). We ended our meal with homemade tiramisu which was outstanding. All this washed down with local wines and family made limoncello. The price was much better than expected and worth every penny. We love this place and frequently eat here when visiting Meta either alone or with family and friends. If you want a fantastic authentic Italian meal in a relaxed and casual restaurant make sure you visit Mazz & Panell. The restaurant was super clean and all the staff wore masks!
