The restaurant is just near Champs de Mars in the centre of Colmar. The menu offers a reasonable choice.

This is a very traditional neighbourhood place. If a movie needs a set anywhere between 1930 and 1970, this place fits right in. Food is authentic and down to earth.

The beef tartar was the best we have had throughout our time in France. The waiter prepared it table side, and it was delicious. The foie gras was also very good and the portion size was quite large.

Very pleasant and calm interiors and a three course set lunch which was excellent value for money .

Thankfully some of the staff spoke English and German, and they had an English menu. They make the beef tartar in front of you!

The ambience is traditional and good, but the English menu is not proper/clear enough.Some food is not as good as expected but most of them are traditional.

Our family meal was absolutely delicious. The staff was attentive and made sure we had an amazing evening. Highly recommended.

Oysters were nice! The beef tartare was delicious but the table side preparation stole the show. Must try when visiting Colmar!! Good wine list—the St Emilion reserve was very nice.

A nice location and quite ambience. The service was very fast with helpful and kindly personnel. The food correct, nothing special. The beef could be a little bit more softy.

What a lovely restaurant. It is very comfy and spacious inside and the food was good. Prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. The staff were friendly and some spoke English, which was appreciated. A good spot for some Alsatian dishes.

Meistermann is a classic French bistro, slightly removed from the epicentre of tourist mayhem in (beautiful) Colmar. Outside terrace, large a/c wood-panelled interior. Serves traditional Alsatian food, like tarte flambé, bibalaskas and spetzeles, simply but very well cooked. Extensive list of regional wines which the staff were happy to help with. Excellent desserts. We had a delightful evening. Recommended

Food was nice, service was actually good staff had the patient for non French speaker, but they were very busy so don’t expect a speedy service, but enjoy the time there and wait patiently for the food ????

The Tarte Flambé had the bottom burn so first reason I have to give a low rating. I ate it and didn’t complain because I was very hungry. The other dish, Bibalaskas, was good. I could not recommend this place, sorry.

Meistermann is nondescript brasserie with exceptional food. It seems to be mostly popular with locals. The staff was friendly and spoke multiple languages. Food was excellent - we had the veal special (stew), a faux filet, and the spätzle with mushroom cream sauce. Everyone was happy and we'd definitely go back again. Thank you!

Overall we were pretty pleased with the food quality and atmosphere. We visited for the first time during lunch and will be going again most likely.

The best steak and Spätzle we had in Colmar. The made an amazing 3 layered Irish coffee at the table. Clean. Great, friendly staff. They were packed, Felt bad they had to really hustle to serve everyone. Reservations are recommended. English is spoken. Takes credit cards.

The food was nice and the atmosphere as well, we had a big table prepared and managed to have a sit down lunch with kids (aged 2-6).

Lacking in atmosphere. Decor could do with an update.

Nice steak. Nice flambée. Wines are good too. The manager who speaks English is helpful. Other junior staff tried their very best to help even they were obviously busy already.
