8.5/10The beef tartar was the best we have had throughout our time in France. The waiter prepared it table side, and it was delicious. The foie gras was also very good and the portion size was quite large.

10/10Oysters were nice! The beef tartare was delicious but the table side preparation stole the show. Must try when visiting Colmar!! Good wine list—the St Emilion reserve was very nice.

10/10What a lovely restaurant. It is very comfy and spacious inside and the food was good. Prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. The staff were friendly and some spoke English, which was appreciated. A good spot for some Alsatian dishes.

10/10Meistermann is a classic French bistro, slightly removed from the epicentre of tourist mayhem in (beautiful) Colmar. Outside terrace, large a/c wood-panelled interior. Serves traditional Alsatian food, like tarte flambé, bibalaskas and spetzeles, simply but very well cooked. Extensive list of regional wines which the staff were happy to help with. Excellent desserts. We had a delightful evening. Recommended

The Tarte Flambé had the bottom burn so first reason I have to give a low rating. I ate it and didn’t complain because I was very hungry. The other dish, Bibalaskas, was good. I could not recommend this place, sorry.

9.5/10Meistermann is nondescript brasserie with exceptional food. It seems to be mostly popular with locals. The staff was friendly and spoke multiple languages. Food was excellent - we had the veal special (stew), a faux filet, and the spätzle with mushroom cream sauce. Everyone was happy and we'd definitely go back again. Thank you!

6.5/10Taste was good. You won’t be disappointed about it. On the other hand, the service was really terrible. It was not up to the standard I expected. It was the worst service in France. Note that I am living in Paris. -We all of us could got the dishes past 1 hour and a half after we ordered. -Everyone who taking seats around us got the dishes much earlier than us, even though they came later than us.. etc….

9/10The best steak and Spätzle we had in Colmar. The made an amazing 3 layered Irish coffee at the table. Clean. Great, friendly staff. They were packed, Felt bad they had to really hustle to serve everyone. Reservations are recommended. English is spoken. Takes credit cards.

8/10It was the celebration of my wife's birthday with friends and we had to wait for more than one hour till our starters were served. After the starters there was hardly a break between the starter and the main hence the time was bad. There was supposed to be 20% discount but as one guest chose another menu we all did not get the promised discount...

9/10Nice steak. Nice flambée. Wines are good too. The manager who speaks English is helpful. Other junior staff tried their very best to help even they were obviously busy already.
