Amazing food, amazing staff, lovely place. Went with my two boys (aged 11 and 13) on our first night in portugal. loved it so much we made it our last night meal too. The steaks were incredible. My youngest had prawn and monkfish skewer which he said was really delicious. A lovely lovely place

Ambience was excellent, as was the traditional FADO entertainment, but the winner tonight was our server Christian. He made our night! He was kind, engaging, and genuine and made our night memorable.

We had another outstanding evening - tremendous service from Carlos and his staff. The food was excellent and we enjoyed an evening of Fado! Highly recommend Memorias as a must visit dinner location in Albufeira. Thank you Carlos and team!

Our first visit here. Service was excellent and the food was great. Would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely return when we come back to Albufeira next winter. 👍👍

Outstanding service and the entire staff was friendly and helpful. The owner actually visited our table a couple of times to ensure we were satisfied. Definitely recommend and we will revisit shortly. Thank you

This is definitely a grilled meat-eaters restaurant - it isn't really a seafood restaurant although the menu includes seafood. Expecting traditional grilled black pig/pork, it had been removed from the online menu. I chose a kalamari starter then a grilled skewered chicken and sausage main. The kalamari arrived very dry - a bit like crisps - the lemon wedge with it was also dry, I asked for another lemon wedge which was barely better - odd for Portugal, the home of laranja and lemon. The main chicken skewer was laden with chicken but with only small pieces of grill-charred onion and red capsicum. The larger chicken pieces were still juicy, smaller peices were dry - i.e. over-grilled. I think I probably chose the wrong menu options - the beef steaks may have been better. But all grilling needs meat to rest to 'loosen' before serving - Memorias may be so busy that hot grilling and no rest time impacts. I'd avoid fresh fish. It is clearly a good restaurant, the service is immaculate.

Waited 25 minutes to be asked what drinks we would like we nearly left . When food arrived it was cold . Meat was hot but on a hot plate. Did say food was cold . Waiter didn’t seem bothered. Like he was used to it well over priced . Probably the worst steak house we’ve eaten in

The music was incredible. The staff attentive. I would suggest smokers moved farther from entrance as strong cigarette and cigar smoke entered the dining area

We had a brilliant meal here last night. The service was spot on — casual, attentive, and really informative without ever feeling over the top. We shared the T-bone, cooked to absolute perfection and big enough for three of us to enjoy. The wine list is huge with plenty of choice to pair with your steak. All in all, a fantastic experience and definitely somewhere we’ll be coming back to.

The food was excellent! The lamb was amazing and the fillet was great. Even the kids sirloin was great. The staff was helpful and very accommodating to my wife’s food restrictions, providing guidance on the menu to help her select with confidence.

Love eating here, the steaks are fantastic, cooked to perfection and brought out on a hot stone. The staff are fab and chatty and attentive

My daughter and son both ordered the chicken skewers. My daughter’s chicken 6 out of 8 pieces were raw not fully cooked. My son ate it to fast without realizing. The waiter came to bring the plate to show the chef only to come back to fry it until well cooked and her vegetables were gone not on the plate anymore. When the bill came it was a full charge, i didn’t even bother to ask for anything but have the decency to offer something to my daughter who didn’t finish eating because she was as disgusted. My wife barely eat after that happened as well. That what you get when you don’t speak Portuguese and not local. Very sad situation because it is a great place but when things like this happen have good faith.

The food was mediocre. Service was very friendly. Very touristy and good for large parties. Fado was good but the singer overwhelmed the guitarist.

Thank you for accommodating our group of 14 tired Americans. As our first meal in Portugal…it was perfect! Fantastic seafood (monkfish and prawns with rice) was exceptional, considerate service, and live fado music was a lovely bonus. Thank you for making our first dinner so memorable!!

waiters do a great job but food is slow in making an appearance...some starters were cold and had to be reordered ...main course food was plentiful and delicious..the Fado is great...our experience was very good overall.

Our waiter went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. The food was excellent! Some of our party had steak, chicken and sea bass. No complaints what so ever. This was our second visit and both were excellent! We’ll be back!!
