Once we walked in the door the smell of amazing food was intoxicating! The owner greeted us with a smile. We ordered only ordered appetizers because we were hopping around trying different places. Their sampler was amazing and had great portions. If you ask nicely the owner will sing Bollywood songs for you. This is a must try.

My partner and I wanted Indian food but weren’t that hungry, so we tried a new place offering 50% off via Fork. We ordered 1 appetizer, 1 curry, 1 garlic naan, and 1 rice, but the owner#1 said it wasn’t “enough” and forced us to order 2 curries minimum (odd, but fine). We realized the curries came with naan and rice, so we cancelled our side orders. The waiter laughed under his breath, making us uncomfortable. While waiting, owner #2 loudly burped nearby. Afterward, he came to our table & pushed us to order drinks, claiming it was “the right thing to do” since we had a discount. He asked repeatedly, even after we declined. Eventually, my partner gave in, but I didn’t want one. The waiter kept pressing, making me feel very uncomfortable. He asked me another 6 times in the span of 20 minutes. When I told him that he is making me uncomfortable, he argued with me! I felt unsafe & shocked by the behaviour of the staff, which I think was the owner. Why do they treat customers like this?

This is my favourite Indian restaurant in Amsterdam. Always a friendly welcome and food is authentic without being too spicy. Price / quality ratio is very good.

Food was excellent, staff attentive and helpfull. We got some extra peppers and other condiments served which a nice touch. We ate outside and it was less crowded in this sidestreet then the rest of the Adam city center. Inside dining was also spacious and did not feel cramped. thx 😊

Classy but also cozy restaurant with friendly staff and very good food. I can recommend the balti chicken but also the lamb dish (saag gosht ) of my husband was very nice. We will definitely come back again.

dinner for four, ample space, not crammed together friendly staff. Food is good well filled and well seasoned, you get more than enough, Menu is fairly standard, no adventures or surprises very safe bet All and all very pleasant an worth a reccomendation

This restaurant is fantastic. The manager and staff are extremely friendly and the food was incredible! The korma and rogan josh were perfectly cooked and the meats were tender. The service was fast and the manager did his best to make sure were had everything we needed. Also try the papadums which were crispy and not oily. We only have great things to say about here and it will definitely be on our calendar for our next trip to Amsterdam!
