5.5/10Amazing, beautiful location. Unfortunately the food & service didn't meet our expectations. There's room to improve: Food - more care and love put into the preparation of the Food Service - Have 1 responsable waiter for the Table & guide the group through the ordering & wine choosing. We appreciate the effort put into making our night enjoyable. All the best

7.5/10Unfortunately, the booths were very uncomfortable, particularly during service. The prices seemed a bit high relative to the quality of the food. While the experience was okay, I likely won’t visit this place again.

10/10Fabulous spot with a great view. Each table has a private area with a beautiful view of the city and it is walled off from floor to ceiling from the other tables. We went with kids and this was a nice way to ensure they weren’t bothering anyone, but I’m sure if you went on an adults only meal it would be very romantic. They served us a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival and the kids received fruit juice in a champagne glass. We ordered the octopus carpaccio to start and it was very tasty. It had crispy onions and a raspberry sorbet served with it. Very unique and very good. I ordered the chicken and a side of green salad. Also very good. The kids ordered fish and chips which was listed as a starter as their meal. It was tasty but had many bones, which was difficult for the kids to handle.

10/10It happened to be the first restaurant I went to when I arrived in Lisbon and I was surprised by all the references throughout the building to the poet Fernando Pessoa - a cultural and gastronomic experience at the same time. The two times I was at the restaurant the service was excellent, from the hotel reception to arrival and services in the restaurant space. The staff are kind, attentive and super agile. The food was wonderful, from starters to dessert, including the cocktails - simply fantastic! I highly recommend the orange pie and the prawns. Not to mention the view from the window, whether day or night, you can see Sao Jorge Castle in the background of the landscape. The outdoor space on the rooftop is also very cozy. I will definitely come back more often!

10/10One of the best restaurants in town!!! I chose this place to celebrate my birthday and... definitely a great choice. The restaurant is located on the top floor of a hotel in Bairro Alto in Lisbon. Thé restaurant itself remains simple, the real « decoration » is the city of Lisbon : the panoramic view of Lisbon in the evening is breathtaking. Dining face to a picture like this is indescribable. Great food: wide choice, well presented, typical flavors of Portuguese cuisine but revisited with taste and attention, excellent pairing with wine thanks to the advice of the staff. I would recommend the octopus carpaccio, thé pork cheek and the cod, but everything is really delicious. Staff up to expectations: smiling, attentive to service and ready to recommend the choice of food and wine. Special mention for Daniel, clever maitre who has the ability to make the evening even more unique. Prices definitely conform to the experience. 5 well deserved stars for this restaurant, if possible I would give more. (book in advance as the tables made available to customers « external» the hotel are not many)

10/10Can’t say enough about the amazing experience here. The view is spectacular. The service is personal without being intrusive, efficient without rushing you, and extremely knowledgeable. The food is outstanding, and the prices are more than reasonable. If I were spending more time in Lisbon, I would go back for a second round, to try all the things I didn’t get to try tonight!

10/10I had booked Mensagem for my birthday as part of my trip to Lisbon, after seeing good reviews about it. Although, there was a misunderstanding regarding the discount offered on my part (the manager kindly accommodated in a way). I was happy with the service and quality of food. The layout and evening views are also amazing. I would highly recommend.

10/10Very nice environment and great food. We got the Tuna Tataki, Fish & Chips, Octopus Carpaccio, Eggs & Asparagus, and the shrimp alioli. The service was lovely. Although it may be a bit pricy for the quantity of food in some dishes (such as the Tuna Tataki), it was a great experience

7/10Good food. Great views. Service was decent the first time I came, but this most recent visit was severely lacking. It took a long time to get served, waitress did not seem familiar with the menu, food was brought out without being introduced, no one came to refill wine or ask if we wanted another bottle. Such a shame with this food and view.
