My daughter and I had a really enjoyable evening at Mercato 8. The food was lovely and the service excellent. We arrived early in the evening so it was quiet at first. As the evening went on and more customers arrived, the atmosphere was warm and very welcoming. Would definitely visit again if I return to Rome.

I was searching for a nice Italian restaurant to eat before I leave Rome and finally I found this one with an amazing Italian pasta. Also very good service and I felt like I was actually in a very Italian restaurant sitting inside. The outside area doesn’t look that nice, but inside is super comfortable. I’ll be back for sure to drink the house wine - very good house wine - and also to be able to eat the tiramisu that I didn’t have this time.

A simple place, ambiente is accordingly, service friendly, food correct - don't expect any surprises (in both directions). Prices are not "simple", but become fair with a discount of 40%

For the ratings they had i expected a more genuine Roman food. The ragù we tested was too sweet, didn't have much of a meet flavor. The portion of the Norcia sausages was quite small. The prawn pasta was decent. Conclusion, ratings are not making justice, for now, to the reality
