The food portions were comparatively smaller as they noticed us with the coupon (40% off). The food was cold and also the waiter repeatedly forced us to get a drink - as that doesn’t come under the coupon.
Mercato 8Le porzioni servite sono abbondanti e servite calde. Il signore si è portato l'acqua da fuori per non pagare il dovuto al ristorante. Nessuno obbliga a consumare nient'altro da quello ordinato, ma non si possono consumare ne' cibo, ne' bevande portate da fuori. Fatevi il picnic a Villa Borghese

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I honestly don’t understand the negative reviews — this was one of the best seafood pasta dishes I’ve ever had! Everything was incredibly fresh, the pasta perfectly al dente, and the flavors were absolutely delicious. I started with a classic tomato and burrata caprese, which was fresh, simple, and full of flavor — the perfect way to begin the meal. I was served in English without any problem, the wine was excellent, and I enjoyed every bite. I left the restaurant completely satisfied and would recommend it with my eyes closed. A true gem!

We had a lovely meal at this restaurant. The staff were attentive and pleasant throughout the meal and made sure we were well looked after. The food was excellent. We really enjoyed the Carbonara, which was thick and creamy, and portion size was just right! The desserts were also delicious! We would definitely come back to this restaurant to try out more of the menu.

The best carbonara and my boyfriend said the same about his pizza. The employees are so nice and sweet and help you with any questions that you might have. I definatly recommend this place. Such a gem (we ate there twice)

My daughter and I had a really enjoyable evening at Mercato 8. The food was lovely and the service excellent. We arrived early in the evening so it was quiet at first. As the evening went on and more customers arrived, the atmosphere was warm and very welcoming. Would definitely visit again if I return to Rome.

Excellent service, very friendly waiters. A wonderful spot on the map of Rome. It’s worth visiting to try authentic Italian cuisine. I will definitely come back here ♥️

I was searching for a nice Italian restaurant to eat before I leave Rome and finally I found this one with an amazing Italian pasta. Also very good service and I felt like I was actually in a very Italian restaurant sitting inside. The outside area doesn’t look that nice, but inside is super comfortable. I’ll be back for sure to drink the house wine - very good house wine - and also to be able to eat the tiramisu that I didn’t have this time.

A simple place, ambiente is accordingly, service friendly, food correct - don't expect any surprises (in both directions). Prices are not "simple", but become fair with a discount of 40%

For the ratings they had i expected a more genuine Roman food. The ragù we tested was too sweet, didn't have much of a meet flavor. The portion of the Norcia sausages was quite small. The prawn pasta was decent. Conclusion, ratings are not making justice, for now, to the reality

The food was good. I had the supplì and the carbonara. The portions were huge! The kitchen was a little slow, but the atmosphere inside was comfortable.

Starter was very good, I took Mercato sea food salad, pizza was correct, just ok Fork discount was applied immediately on the bill Menu was only in italien but waiter spoke English and gave me needed info
