2/10We had a disappointing experience. I asked in advance if I could bring my dog and they said yes, but when we arrived they told us he could only enter with a muzzle, something they never mentioned before. My Golden Retriever is very calm, and one of the staff kindly let us in anyway. We came all the way from Badalona and were 30 min late, but the place was almost empty. When they told us that the discount couldn’t be applied, my husband made a new reservation on TheFork for the same time, but they refused to honor it. It made no sense, and the staff treated us poorly. Such a shame, we went to another place and spent more than €100 that could have been there. I could have become a regular and brought many friends, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

10/10The food , besides being interesting, was visibly pretty to look at and delicious. Each course we ate was an unusual rendition of what we expected and that added to the meal. Definitely would go again and would recommend to others

8/10We called waitress to take part of the order at least 3 times. He was busy checking something over the phone. While the manners of the staff were great with the baby that was accompanying us, we felt a little ignored at that moment. Food was good. Paella could use a little improvement.

8.5/10Merce Tapas is a great option for anyone visiting the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. The atmosphere is nice and the food quite good and priced reasonably. The service was excellent. We enjoyed our evening there and believe it is a great option for tapas in the Gothic Quarter.
