Went for valentines day. Food and wine extremely average. Restaurant is extremely cozy; however, service was not adequate for the price.

We had a wonderful dinner here! Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The service was warm and professional, and the atmosphere elegant but relaxed. It felt like a Michelin star experience — just without the star. I can’t wait to come back!

The food and service were beyond excellent. We were so glad to spend 1 out of 2 nights here for dinner. The chef came out to meet us afterwards which was also a lovely touch. Highly recommend and special thanks to our waiter who was exceptional.

We opted for the tasting menu with wine testing option and it was the perfect choice. The tasting menu was very even, with a excellent mix of shelffish, meat, veggies. Appetizers were great and the desserts were superb!.

Everything is perfect. Real fine dining,very elegant and the service is very special on the top level too . Great choice and recommendation of wines . Have been at this restaurant many times and never were disappointed. Fantastic for romantic couples, for families (not with small kids) as well as for business people (there is a special room if needed).

A delightful experience with a superstar service, a creative & tasteful cuisine made with passion and « delicatesse » in an incredible place. Honestly, as foodies and having done most of the michelin, fine dining, and insider cuisine in barcelona, this one is in our top 5. Ask to visit the place…it’s a diamond of architecture and design done by a famous Spanish architect Rafael Moneo.

We enjoyed a fantastic tasting menu at the Mercer which truly was one of the high points of our trip. From the flavor balance of each course to the charming service, it was an unforgettable meal.

Mercer has the best staff in house. The rice seafood dish was fantastic, hearty & tasty. Little disappointed at the starters we ordered. But both our main dishes, rice seafood & black angus, were great. The ambience of Mercer was quaint. You can feel the history of the place through the stone wall, yet very contemporary. I’d recommend you to this restaurant, especially the rice (seafood) dish.

Food is beautifully presented and excellently prepared and cooked to perfection. However, my wife and I found the choice very limiting and we’re forced to accept dishes which we wouldn’t normally have considered. Perhaps this is why the restaurant was empty apart from one other couple ?

Amazing food, very original and very nice service. Friendly and professional waiters. The beef with figs and dates was just amazing, just as the cheese plate and the chocolate sablé we have. The interiors are also very pretty with high ceilings in a historical building of barcelona. Highly recommend !

The food was good but the steak was a little tough. They serve you bread and water but it has cost (they didnt notice)

Refreshingly different. In this case the chef managed to combine unusual flavors & textures to perfection. We chose a fixed menu, eel appetizer, venison, mascarpone absolutely delicious and flawless! Our server Luis topped off our unforgettable experience. He was outstanding with his wine recommendations, friendly and attentive. We only had a few days in Barcelona but will return before we head back to San Diego. My husband and I have traveled and dined out a lot, so if you're a foodie or appreciate excellent food you must dine here!

Excellent service, ambiance remarkable and really nice tasty and balanced dinner. Good selection of wines, and even if the wallet noticed the dinner, it was fully worthing it. As I often say, it's not expensive when you really enjoy it, and both my wife and I did. Highly recommendable

A Hidden Gem in the heart of El Born in Barcelona. They easily could be a Michelin star but they are not interested in. Food delicious, service unbeatable, cozy setting, NOT a Michelin price, I love it and I’ll return for sure.

Wonderful experience. It was the second year we celebrate Valentine’s day at Mercer. And like last year everything was just perfect. Amazingly surprising mixture of tastes, all excellently combined. Impecable service and superb surrounding. We will come back for sure!
