Truly professional service combined with a delicious meal made for an incredible dinner in Lisbon! Don’t miss the Spanish tortilla and garlic shrimp (eaten together, shrimp sauce spooned over the tortilla). Excellent Portuguese wines available by the glass or bottle.

9/10Long wait even with reservation. Food, drinks, and ambience were excellent but some confusion with ordering. Had been told we could start with tapas and order more when we were ready but was not warned that kitchen was closing so did not get a chance to order more food as expected. All in all would go again and would recommend despite minor inconveniences!

10/10The Welcome we received from the staff !! Right from our arrival we were made to feel so welcome, we were given a complimentary glass of wine and seated exactly where we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble, the atmosphere created by the cheerful staff was really enjoyable. The food was exemplary, we had the tasting menu with paired wines. Each course was superb, authentic and beautifully presented. I feel sooooo full, I ate everything!🙂 Don’t hesitate to get a table!!

The whole vibe of the restaurant was charming, inside was warm and inviting. Outside was lively and welcoming. The food was by far the BEST WE HAVE HAD on our trip (8 days). Unbelievable paella, tuna and foie gras- actually amazing!!!! Sara was our server, professional, charming and kept it fun!

4/10I never thought I would have a bad meal in Lisbon, but the meal here was mediocre. Very disappointed, given the ratings. Yes, this was a busy Saturday night but one would think they were used to managing this: food was delayed, coming out of the kitchen for others who arrived after us. The tapas came with half hour gaps between and those who ordered mains were long finished before we got our last ones. Wait staff were harried, hard to get their attention--and this wasn't just us. We saw others being impatient and waiting and waiting, even waiting after being promised the check would come. Wait staff were nice once there and helpful, once we got them to get to the table. But horrible timing of food and disappointing (as in some dishes were really flavorless: hot pepper shouldn't be the only " flavor.") Not 0ur first time in Lisbon, so a very disappointing meal.

It was indeed a very full Saturday evening, as you noticed. We always do our best, but like any restaurant, there are rare moments when things don’t flow perfectly — and I’m sure our waiter apologized at the time. As for your comment about other clients being unhappy, that does not reflect reality, as you can clearly see from the many positive reviews from our guests, including from that same night. Regarding the food, we are very proud of what we serve and the quality we maintain, though of course we understand that not everyone shares the same taste. It’s a pity you didn’t appreciate our restaurant as much as we hoped — our priority is always to provide the best possible experience, and it is disappointing to see our work evaluated in such a negative way.

10/10Lovely spot in a stepped side street, with tables outside not too close to each other. Menu wasn’t too extensive with a wide range of dishes from smaller tapas plates through to full mains such as pig cheeks which were so tender and one of their long standing dishes from when the restaurant first opened. Sara looked after us wonderfully, recommended a dry white Portuguese wine that paired really well with the prawns and cheese parcels we had for starters, plus a red which was equally as good. Service was warm and friendly and at the perfect pace so as not to be rushed - all in all a lovely meal from an attentive and knowledgeable team

10/10Very quiet when we arrived for our booking at 1pm on a Friday for my husband’s birthday , but lovely ambiance nonetheless. Food was amazing, and service by Fernando wan unobtrusive but attentive at the same time. Would definitely return.

9.5/10Sarah, our server, was totally on it. She realised before we did that our table was becoming overloaded with the food that we had ordered. Without bothering us she told the kitchen to slow down the delivery of our tapas, bringing it out once we were ready for more.

ENG version Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was disappointing, especially considering its high average rating. We paid over €51 for what amounted to two small plates of potatoes, one of cured sausage and 2 drinks: two portions of « batatas bravas » – each barely five bites – served with a sauce that frankly had nothing to do with a real bravas sauce, and about twelve ultra-thin slices of cured sausage. Excluding the drinks – a white sangria and a mocktail costing €15 in total – the food alone came to €35, which was hard to justify given the quality and especially the quantity. The potatoes were decent, but nothing remarkable, and certainly not worth the price. Honestly, we left still hungry and ended up going to another restaurant to actually finish our meal. A disappointing experience and poor value for money. We expected much more.

Our restaurant offers both tapas and plain dishes. Tapas are intentionally small portions meant for sharing—not to replace a full meal on their own. If you wanted a larger plate, we do have that option clearly available. All our food is made with high-quality, carefully selected ingredients, and all prices are clearly listed on our menu so guests can make informed choices. We understand not everyone shares the same tastes or expectations, and our concept may not have matched what you were looking for. Still, giving a review like this based on a misunderstanding of our offer is unfair to the work and quality we consistently deliver.

5/10Food was ok but perhaps unfortunately but when we visited the restaurant inside was quiet and lacked in atmosphere. We asked for the cheaper bottle of Cava and cynically weren’t surprised that they hadn’t got any so were upsold the more expensive one. The server subsequently made a show of slicing the cork off with a blade and wasted half a glass. We’d rather have just had the cork removed normally. Whilst some people like might fast service we felt it was rushed. Consequently we asked if we could finish our drinks outside but the restaurant at first weren’t accommodating saying there was no availability when clearly there was. As it was obvious we weren’t happy they did move us and there was plenty of space. We did not find the experience relaxing so would not return.
