6.5/10The place was nicely decorated and we were received warmly by an older gentleman who appeared to be the owner. Our waiter, on the other hand, was a different story altogether. He wasn’t exactly rude, but it was clear that he was very tired and had no interest in doing anything other than just shuttling plates of food to tables. A smile goes a long way in this this business, and it’s a minimum requirement in my book for anyone who works with the public. It is possible to be tired and reasonably pleasant at the same time, and I don’t think it is too much to ask of a waiter. The food was of acceptable quality for the most part, and some of our dishes were quite tasty. However, the bread was very dry and some other dishes seemed a bit overpriced considering the size of the portions. The desserts were surprisingly good, especially the ponche Segoviano.

6/10I wanted to taste the "lechazo", but unfortunately, I was told that it was only by previous order. This was not indicated anywhere. Otherwise, the food was reasonable.

9/10We did not know what to expect from reading the reviews and we were pleasantly surprised. Both pork and ponche were excellent. The pork came a bit chill, but they just warmed it again and we enjoyed it a lot. Our compliments to the friendly staff.

4.5/10Meal was very salted to cover on the verge of expiring time. Very small place, not really comfortableto sit. Main AC was not working, only small AC placed where it bordered the other guests.

Que mala comida.? Pude 3 platos y 2 los devuelven totalmente terminados y el tercero a medias y sin ninguna queja. Mal servicio? Quizás porque usted tenía mucha prisa por irse y se le tardo en atender porque había más gente? Tampoco está de más que diga que tenía reserva a las 2 y usted se presentó con media hora de retraso lo que hizo que usted tuviera prisa y que hub.iera más gente

8.5/10I don’t believe the discount was properly applied and we realized too late. Normally, it’s not something that we have to go ask for or remind. But, in any case, the food and service were quite good. Although it did seem like we were a tad rushed at the end.

10/10I hesitated to make this reservation because of the mixed reviews on Tripadvisor, but went ahead because we could not find open reservations anywhere else. We were more suspicious as we approached the restaurant and no external table was used. Well, we were very pleasantly surprised! The little eating room upstairs was full, except fo r our reserved table. My wife entrecot and my cochinito asado were delicious. We both had a Sopa Castellana (basically garlic flavored broth with egg and bread) which we had never tried before and both liked it. The service was cheerful, conversational, we enjoyed the wine and the dessert too (flan for her, cuajada for me, which was fresh and topped with nice honey). Had a great time. Oh, and the free tables outside? Well, it was cold and no sunshine on that area. The restaurant is not on the main drag, rather on a quiet street just on the edge of the old town. It is built in a multilevel house and the small and cozy dining room is on the second floor (which in European's lingo is the 1st floor, you know, above the 0th floor).

5.5/10It's not far away from a typical Spanish tapas/restaurant, but restrictions forced owners to display tables outdoor. Segovia casco historico is a gem, on the other hand it's laying at 1000metres altitude and it's not easy being comfortable when eating outside. Other than that, food wasn't expected as menu showed on; good welcoming and fair prices

8.5/10Good food very close to the centre! Quality was good and not expensive, Very friendly people. Booking with the fork is an advantage. I suggest the “cochinillo”
