10/10The service was extraordinarily great. The food was delicious and we were full after (only) the main course. The dessert (chocolate delight) was the perfect ending to a perfect dinner.

10/10Dinner on a Saturday night with great ambience, fantastic food and great service. Outstanding, especially that we had some dietary (gluten free) requirements. Sparking white was excellent too!

7/10The view onto the Korenlei canal is stunning, and Marriott has done a great job repurposing a beautiful historical property. We ordered a starter of honey-glazed chèvre on a baby romaine salad with truffle vinaigrette, sun dried tomatoes, and forest mushrooms, followed by grilled beef and pork. Although the cheese would have been better had it been warmer, the combination of flavors and textures was exquisite. The beef was cooked perfectly and its Béarnaise was well done. The green peppercorn sauce with the pork was also delicious. Our waiter was helpful but perhaps a bit too engaging. Prices were high so we were grateful for the discount provided by booking with The Fork.

2.5/10we were met at reception the server could not find our booking because we had used a third party booking service The Fork, hastily shown to our table we chose the fixed menu which was okay choice wise, then a quick rush through of the course and it was all done. wine was good the service needs attention and the food was very average , not what i was expecting from reading the description on the website,. never again very poor in summary. if you can not run a kitchen stick to being a good hotel, scrap your restaurant, or make some big changes.

9/10Nice restaurant with a canal view, elegant ambience. The house speciality is meat, but there are some (excellently cooked) fish dishes on the menu. Fresh quality products. The service is friendly. It would be helpful if the dishes served were described and how to taste them indicated. We were embarrassed as to how to use the broth served with fish. Apart from this aspect, we really enjoyed the experience and found it to be one of the best restaurants in the historic centre of Ghent. We will definitely return.

10/10Our dinner at Midtown Grill Gent was a wonderful experience. We had a lovely table near the window, with a romantic view on the canal. The quality of the food and drinks was excellent, and the service was impeccable. A special thank you to Khata, who offered us a perfect service. I was happy to celebrate my birthday dinner in such a romantic ambiance and highly recommend this restaurant! Will definitely be back the next time in Gent.

7.5/10We ordered tomahawk steak 1 kilo for 2 people. We are sure we didn't get the amount that was specified on the menu. Service was friendly. Food was overall good enough.

10/10Great restaurant in the Marriott hotel. As expected for an American chain, steaks were cooked very well. Good selection of wine and friendly staff. Not the cheapest in town.

2/10Terrible experience!! After 2 hours we only had some bread and a starter, we left because we didn’t want to wait any longer. Ambiance is poor, not as fancy as on the pictures. It is the restaurant of a hotel, if I would have known, would not have booked it.

8.5/10Food was nice, but service was very slow. Waiting for wait staff. Was there 25 minutes before we got to order. There was only two other tables, so not busy. Head waiter, finally came to take order. Then the other waiter did most everything. Food came quickly after we were able to order.

8/10Very nice restaurant with good service, good food and a nice view of water and old buildings. We were celebrating my wifes 70th birthday and unfortenately a group of six loud laughing/speaking middle age to old people turned up and ruined the whole experience. Also other people reacted when thy turned up. We asked the waiter to tell them to be more quiet, but nothing happened.

9.5/10This is a restaurant next to the Ghent Marriott and at the moment, it's also been moved inside the hotel lobby (hence the less than perfect score on ambience). However all else about the experience was great - we had the daily special steak (with roasted vegetables, and it was no issue to replace the usual French fries with this healthier option) and a lovely Vitello tonnato, with some very pleasant Malbec. Impeccable service, great foot quality and friendly staff. Physical distancing maintained between tables too. Highly recommend for your Ghent visit!
