Incredibly fresh, delicious offerings. Truly one of the best restaurants in Lucca. Service was friendly and extremely helpful. If I lived here this would be one of my most frequented restaurants.

The food was outstanding! After 2 weeks in Tuscany we did not want pasta and the same old specials, delicious as they were. This restaurant delivers fresh and modern food in a very creative but still very Italian way. Would highly recommend!

Tasty food, well made and with a fresh feel. Had starters (anchovy on tomato pulp, - tasted very fresh) and chick pea bread. A beef pasta and veal in a breadcrumb shell with different sauces around it. Both very tasty. Fresh tasting bread. A desert (1) of almond biscuits (fresh) to dip in desert wine; delicious! Plus bottle of Chianti all for 105 eur. A great contrast to the 200 eur we spent the night before in Pisa on something mediocre. Very pleased with our meal. Place was a little quiet but it’s October I suppose.

Nice place - we were seated outside. Girls asked for spritzes as drinks which arrived quick but were v small in highball glasses and not wine glasses as expected. Starter/apps were v good and I order a half bottle of wine which was not chilled so was asked to wait - not a problem. The panzanella style gnocchi was v good as was the chickpea flatbread. Mains were ok - veal was served cold as intended but not what I expected at all - v similar to a charcuterie which was not what I wanted but tasted fine. Aubergine was the standout dish, beef was cooked well and the risotto was pretty good. Nothing was outstanding but still worth a visit.

Nice new restaurant, beautiful on the inside. We sat outside in a quiet alleyway, very pleasant. The food was really quite good, and it would have been a great meal except for one member of staff. He appeared to be either the owner or head waiter and he was so odd. He greeted us with a frown, not a smile in sight. He made us feel like an inconvenience, and got downright flustered and annoyed taking our order. So strange for a new restaurant. The other staff were very polite and pleasant, but due to this odd experience I can't see us coming back. And we live in Lucca, we are not tourists.

They offered really nice dishes. The appetite (with fish, I forgot the name) is so impressive, that it was shared by my friends quickly. I can't forget the taste! In lucca, it is definitely surprise. The local wine is good too. And my friend ordered a dessert (almond cookie with wine) which remind him of mother's taste when he was a kid.

First the location is very central in town, but away from the busy streets. The restaurant interior has been upgraded to be more contemporary, giving it a fresh and inviting feel with a good flow. Service was very attentive, informative and accommodating. The food, however, was the best part for us. It arrived quickly, was served at the correct temperature and, most important, was delicious (e.g., my grilled polpo was the best in town). My wife and I also appreciated that they included a cheese course under dolce, rather than just the usual sweet treats; plus the cheeses offered that day were regional but atypical---and excellent. Although we would love to keep this place our own little secret, for the restaurant's sake, we feel obligated to recommend this establishment for others to discover and enjoy.

It is a beautiful restaurant, lovely design features make you feel it is a special occasion place. The lunch menu is a wee bit limited but what we had was very good. No cheesecake though … we’ll just have to go back!

Great decor, decent first course then a shockingly poor piece of cod, massively overcooked. Puccini would have wept.
