As usual They offered a great service considering that we were 11 people divided in 2 tables . The exceptional courtesy of proposing hamburgers for the youngsters at night which are not included in the menu was deeply appreciated. Mike’s is a great restaurant

Mike’s is a Great discover In Saint John Lateran area . The decor is contemporary, the views from the 4th floor of the general store Coin where is located are stunning specifically the Aurelian walls located right across and the food is really good . Portions are quite generous and the menu is substantially Italian with great re interpretations , although is different from lunch to dinner . We’ve tried both and we were more than satisfied , actually very pleased . The wine list is really high quality and besides you can buy the wines that you had with your meal in the store at the same level going out from the restaurant . The only detail is that if you need to carry out what you didn’t eat ( which in many European countries is a personal right ruled by law ) they are not prepared or authorize to satisfy your request therefore you can go down 1 floor and get a container in the home department and your resolve the problem . Since I live in this neighborhood I will keep on coming to enjoy the place and the food .

From the moment we arrived at the restaurant the attitude of the waiter was very bad and arrogant. Was better when one girl(his collegue) changed him and came to us to take the order. But that young guy…OMG, he have a lot to learn about how to make his job. We asked him if we can stay on the window table, he said “no” even if almost all tables was empty and we had reservation. All that time we stayed there, no one comes to stay to the window. We said, ok, maybe the food is good. But no, nothing special, doesn’t explain the high prices. We reserved with the fork, so we should have had a 20% discount but they didn’t make it at all.
