always have a good meal at Mira's. We come a few times a year when holidaying in tavira and usually get to take advantage of a fork offer. Seafood is good quality and service always with a smile.

The food was excellent with a great choice. We were not rushed when eating & everything was brought it when required. Amazing waiter! Will definitely go back.

we went hoping for more vegan options which they had on an online menu and were pretty disappointed with the options they did have. Not great flavours and over stewed curry. Probably wouldn't go back

Was the most weirdest food ever. The tapas were strange. Pan fried mushrooms had a strange sauce and full of grease. The deep fried squid was not deep fried and I could not even eat them the taste was So strange. The sauté salmon was oven baked and so dry and overcooked, would highly recommend giving this restaurant a miss.

I wasn't finished my starter when the main course was presented . My husband got his ice cream which was so hard he couldn't eat it

I love the quite ambiance so that you can really visit with people. I also appreciate the willingness of the chef to accommodate special dietary needs. Thats a sign of great service. Plus, the food is delicious. FYI, kudos on bringing your Offer back. This is one reason we return here and refer you regularly 😉!

I dont drink alcohol, but I like to drink sparkling water of a wine glas. I assess the restaurants we visitg on the answer you get if you ask for that. Some restaurant and servant ssignal that this is really not normal, the good restaurants says of course - if you want. Mira is one of these restaurants. its a symbol of good service

Great tapas - favorites were chèvre with apple, sautéed salmon with almonds. Kind servers and a cozy spot on a rainy day.

We waited a fair while for menus and to order wine. Menus were rather tatty which didn't give a good impression. But the food came quickly and was good - fresh sea bass and lovely risotto. 2nd time eating here in Tavira. Very nice indeed.

The menu did not have the current wine list or the vegan dessert items it lists, both in-person and online. The waitress was very nice and friendly, but doesn’t drink wine and didn’t know what to recommend except what she has seen others request. I ordered the octopus and sweet potatoes. The potato chips were precooked and barely room temperature and many were flimsy from swimming in the large amount olive oil on the bottom of the dish from the octopus. My husband ordered the shrimp risotto, which was basically a rice version of mac and cheese with a few shrimp. In addition, We came specifically for the vegan dessert items since I can’t have dairy, but none of them were available, which was very disappointing. The place is cute, but too bad it didn’t live up to the name or menu.

As always the food was delicious and well presented. The only reason we marked it down by one star .. is because of the condition of the very tired and old menus held together with sellotape, they really do need to be replaced.

We booked a table through The Fork and informed the restaurant upon arrival. We ordered wine, but were presented with a different wine menu with a 4 euro price difference. The owner arrived with a random 50 euro wine, offering it for 25 euro, and pressured us to try it. We declined after tasting. Our original wine wasn't available, but the owner suggested an alternative that was fine. However, the bill didn't reflect The Fork discount initially, but was rectified after we pointed it out.

Lovely tapas to share and thoroughly enjoyed. However disappointed in the main with our mains as they were fairly basic and without the Oomph we expected after the tapas

Food was excellent as always and the staff were pleasant and friendly. However, our main courses arrived before we had finished our starters which wasn't ideal.

If you book this through The Fork and expect a discount of 30% you won't get it. You will more likely get between 10% & 15%. However the tapas menu is limited but good food. We had four different dishes and all were tasty and of a god standard. The desserts are not up to the same standard. The highlight for us was Salmon Tartare but the prawn curry had a rather bitter taste. Go and give this place a try and enjoy.

The food as always is very good. Unfortunately, the service has deteriorated from previous visits. Constant waiter turnover, server(s) were slow in taking orders and did not bother to check the table to see if anything else was needed. I had to go to the bar to ask for another drink which took over 10 minutes to get and excuses were made such as "I was serving another table"; rather than saying "I apologize for the delay".

Great experience at Mira Tapas and Wine. Although the restaurant was busy making service a little slow, we thoroughly enjoyed everthing we ordered. Tuna tartare was especially good. Would definitely go again.

Mira was the first restaurant we visited on our stay in Tavira and we enjoyed it pretty much. We arrived at noon when it was nearly emptied but it was busy when we left. The service was good and friendly. Our waiters spoke english and could help with the menu. The veg main dishes were unfortunately out of stock but there were tapas and salads that were suitable for vegetarians. Drinks and food were served quickly and we enjoyed it.

This was a delightful meal in all respects: excellent and considerate service, lovely atmosphere with no intrusive music, and exceptional food at very good prices. My gambas risotto was exceptional. The house rosé was very good and inexpensive. We will be going back during our week in Tavira.
