Superlative food and service. Fantastic terrace views

We were so disappointed in the slow, poor, almost arrogant service in this ristorante. The time it took for him to complete any task for proper service was lengthy, and we almost walked out. No one ever came to our table with apologies for any kind of delay or poor service. The spaghetti carbonara was so thick in sauce that the pasta nearly swam in a thick puddle of mush. The spaghetti was not al dente, but rather was very soft and overcooked. It was, sadly, the worst dining experience we had in our 2 weeks in Rome and the Amalfi Coast. PS: Room service tacks on an additional fee of approximately $6.00 on top of the cost of your order. We do not recommend this restaurant.

Our waiter was attentive, friendly and gracious. The food was both delicious and beautiful. We went early and had the entire restaurant to ourselves. Bellisimo❤️

The food and the service were both excellent. The maître D Max was entertaining and the staff was very attentive. We had a great evening and it was reasonably priced as well.

It looks like the glory of this restaurant is somewhere in the past. The food is good but not exceptional. The restaurant is on the roof of the hotel and lacks the Positano's vibe and energy.

The food, service and view were all great. The reason for the 3 stars for the food is that my wife felt horrible soon after eating and most of the next day. She had the dorade (fish). It tasted fine, but must have been off.

We celebrated my birthday and the staff made it extra special with an amazing view and some birthday surprises and treats. Food and service was outstanding!!

The warm friendly staff, the views are definitely worth it the food is good & decent for price in Positano. They are unique in that they offer both bread for the table and a little pizza puff pastry it’s the little details and fine touches for me the waitstaff are on top of it. And it’s not over crowded, very romantic with intimate tables only maybe 10 tables outside on the terrace which is where you want to be! Highly recommend to go during sunset delicious espresso martinis!

Ivan was our waiter and he was attentive and friendly. The view was breath taking and the fish of the day (sea bass) and lobster linguine were fabulous. A great date night - would recommend

Mirage in Positano offers a stunning view and a dreamy ambiance that’s hard to beat—but unfortunately, that’s mostly what you’re paying for. The food was average at best. It felt like the focus was more on aesthetics than hospitality or culinary quality. Worth a stop for a drink and the view, but if you’re looking for a memorable meal, you might want to explore other spots in Positano.

We were served by a combination of the Manager and a waiter. The waiter was very professional but the Manager was totally disengaged. We asked for a wine list and when I couldn't see any white wines and pointed this out to him, he carelessly pointed at one page with red wines on it and said "there you are". We eventually called the waiter and he realised the error on the menu and brought us a correct one. Our first course arrived out about 2 minutes after we ordered so clearly it wasn't cooked to order. I had prawns which appeared undercooked so I didn't finish them. My wife's first course of pasta was very nice, so we shared that. The mains, which were catch of the day, were both good. The bill came to €180, which isn't expensive maybe by Positano standards, but the whole experience was underwhelming. There is a great view, but the food/Manager let the place down.

The food was delicious and came quickly. The team was very attentive and very kind. They helped us pick the table with the best view on the shade for our anniversary and even gave us an extra dish as a surprise. Lots of walk to get up there, but totally worth it! Beautiful view, delicious food and great staff. 10/10.

The service was excellent and the views were amazing. The food was good and tasty but not particularly mind blowing. The desserts we had were fantastic.

We had a lovely dinner, over looking the lights of Positano. The servers were attentive but didn't rush us in the least. The food was excellent, you know the seafood is fresh! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a memorable way to finish off the perfect day.

+2On our last night in the beautiful Positano we decided to visit Mirage. And how glad we were that we did! I think we saved the best for last. The service, view, food, and ambiance were all top notch. Absolutely magnificent!

Our waitress was friendly and welcoming. The food was also very good. And the view of the coast is amazing!

Waiter was on top of it, ambience was peaceful above the chaos of Positano. An oasis at the top of the hill. Food was 5 out of 5, not overpriced at all. Highly recommend with the amazing view.
