6/10Everything about this restaurant gives a very elevated and enjoyable atmosphere. White table cloths, great wine menu, super friendly and attentive service but wow the menu was terrible and the food was worse. Fire the guy in the kitchen and hire a chef who actually knows how to cook and this would be a place fitting of the 4 star hotel that it's in.

8.5/10we had a very nice meal. the service was amazing. the resturant was moved to lower floor due to function in miranda we felt the lower floor resturant was better as you didn't feel like you were in the lobby. wine a little bit expensive.

6.5/10The steak was fine, but the mushrooms felt unnecessary in the dish. Our waiter forgot to bring our drinks and didn’t replace my knife with a steak knife as requested. I ordered a large beer, but they didn’t have a large glass, so they served me a small one instead. They promised to bring me a second one once I finished, but that never happened. To make things worse, I was charged for the large beer, and I had to ask them to correct the bill to reflect the small beer I actually received.

10/10The food was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the fish soup and the duck leg. The service was very good indeed. The waiters were warm, attentive and made great recommendations.

10/10Great value for money. The restaurant has a nice view on the Quinta de Regaleira and theMoorish Castle. The menu has tasty and regional options. In particular we found the soups and desserts were amazing

9/10When looking at the Miranda recommendation on Fork I didn't realise that the restaurant was part of a hotel, this was a bit of a concern as my wife and I don't normally find the quality in hotel restaurants as good as in smaller, local establishments. However, the menu and service at the Miranda was excellent. we had the award winning Sintra soup, cod with breadcrumbs, spinach and potatoes and my wife had battered John Dorry. Our only small, negative observation was that the food was a bit salty, which I know is down to one's personal taste. I would go back again.

2/10We made reservations for my birthday. We got there just before our reservation. When we were seated in what is really just their hotel lobby-not the terrace in the photos. We asked for some water. 20 minutes later we got a bottle of water. Put in our food and drink order and almost an hour after we arrived still didn’t even have drinks. Every table around us at least had their drinks-but no food, The man at the table next to us got very angry with the waiter and was arguing with him in Portuguese. We left. It nearly ruined my birthday-because where do you find somewhere to eat after 10 pm. Luckily Romania De Baco was open and we had a lovely dinner, with great service.

10/10Great food and very friendly service. Nice setting with outside bar. This is a hotel restaurant but we enjoyed our evening there - was not crowded and all dishes were tasty with staff making good recommendations.

8.5/10+6The views aee stunning into Regaleira, Relógio, Mourish Castle and thw Colares Value. Do try the award winning fish soup. We had an issue with the only desert we ordered... 40 minutes waiting until we gave up. Paying was another mission with no machines supporting MBway, which leads to believe the restaurant is targeting only foreign customers.

8/10The strongest point is the view, outside area and elegant ambience. The service is amazing, Mr. Moreno and Nuno are very kind and make you feel comfortable. The food is ok, nothing special.

9.5/10Located in a nice hotel lobby with panoramic and scenic views of Sintra. Was a bit understaffed but so the two waiters were working hard to service all the tables. Everyone enjoyed their dinners but the star was a pear, ice cream and port wine dish that was simply a showstopper. Great meal and views.

7/10Nestled with a panoramic view of Sintra’s picturesque landscape, the restaurant sets high expectations with its beautifully curated decor. Unfortunately, the dining experience itself did not mirror the visual appeal. The couvert with bread, butter, olives and ham has a price per person on the menu, we are 3 so we order couvert for 3. First, only the bread and butter was served and the waitress left without saying anything and we got confused, where are the olives and ham? We thought it was forgotten and we had to ask the waitress for him to say that it was being prepared, it would have been nice if he had told us in advance to avoid the customers from being confused. When the olives and ham arrived, we were surprised by the amount of ham in each one, it's too much, the ham in a single couvert is enough for 3 people. Even the waitress found it weird after finishing serving and asked "This is what you want right?", well, yes, that's what we ordered, but It would have also been nice if we were told upfront that it was too much ham. The olives were hot for some reason. I ordered the shrimp curry with basmati rice and the other 2 ordered the codfish. The codfish was good in presentation and flavor. The shrimp curry was very poor in presentation, when the dish arrived, the top of the curry sauce had formed a coating or a layer and I had to remix the sauce. It was too spicy and the shrimp were super overcooked. I could have done myself better at home. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, especially given the premium price point. It's disheartening to see a trend where the aesthetics of a restaurant overshadow the quality of its cuisine. For a venue in such an idyllic setting, one expects every aspect of the dining experience to be exceptional, not just the view. This visit was a reminder that a beautiful location cannot compensate for mediocre food and service.

5.5/10One of the worst service experience in years. I booked a table for 5 and as we arrived there was only tables for 2 people. We waited and waitress put to tables together, added some tableware and left without adding 5th chair and having on table only wine glasses for 4 (we had two kids with us). Although there was only one other couple ordering only wine, two waitresses started chatting with them without serving us for a long period. After ordering it happened again and both waitresses chatted long period without bringing drinks. First we got just water waitress poured water to one glass and then said that you can serve yourself and left. Our two kids never got water glasses and when they finally got their drinks one them was also wrong one. After long food waiting period some of the arrived foods were totally cooled down and they managed to spill some food over on table. The good thing was that food was delicious.

6/10Lovely location and views were stunning. Unfortunately the food was very average lacked taste and presentation. We both had steak which was chewy and just came with chip which were dry and taste less plus there were no vegetables or salads with it. Maybe good for just a drink to watch the sun go down
