The food at Mirandoalmar was good overall, but there were a few things that could be improved. The cod fritters we ordered as a starter were unfortunately frozen and arrived still cold inside, which was quite disappointing. The paella, on the other hand, was really tasty and well prepared. The atmosphere is nice, but be aware that sitting on the terrace comes with an extra charge of almost €9. The staff was friendly, but they didn’t explain the menu properly or what was included in the discount we had through The Fork

10/10The location is fantastic, right by the sea, with a beautiful view that makes the atmosphere very special. The menu offers a good variety of dishes well prepared The staff was attentive and made us feel very comfortable throughout the evening. A wonderful spot to enjoy good food with a great view – we’ll be happy to return!

6/10This is a great location with beautiful atmosphere and views: but the food is not great, and the service is clearly geared towards tourists and trying to squeeze as much as possible out of every table. Starting with food, is very bland and not worth the price level. Fish & chips was very dry and tasteless, one of the worse we had ever had. Steak was quite chewy and not cooked properly. Prawns tapas and vegetables tapas were good enough: nothing wow, but decent. The service was warm but not very attentive. But biggest problem is lack of transparency: they bring 4 pieces of bread, without you having ordered and asking for it (and you later pay about 2 euro for each…), water comes in refillable bottles (not great) and it’s overpriced. We had a 50% the fork discount, they did not apply at first, they when asked did so but: service excluded, drinks excluded, bread excluded… also they ad a 8% “terrace surcharge” which god knows what means: we were not at the seafront terrace

7/10The food was OK. we had two seafood dishes. One was mainly noodles, with minimal seafood. The other was full of large bones in the fish. Nice flavours. My advice check your bill. They overcharged us by 10€. However, they quickly adjusted it when we pointed it out. Beautiful views. Service OK.

We had an excellent experience at this restaurant, perfectly located at Maremagnum with beautiful views and a relaxed atmosphere. The service was friendly, efficient, and attentive from start to finish, and the prices were very fair considering the quality and location. Drinks arrived quickly, and the beer was served ice-cold — exactly how it should be. We started with a tapeo of perfectly seasoned olives and a delicious gambas al ajillo full of flavor. The fish and chips were juicy and crispy, and the entrecôte was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and nicely presented. A great spot for a casual yet high-quality meal in Barcelona. Highly recommended!

2/10Low quality food Charged for terrace tax 8% while stayed inside Ordered small beer ‘caña’ and charged 4.8€ instead of 3.9€ present in the menu. Totally embarrassing, they gave discount on food and cheat you on the rest. Requesting refund and proceeding with legal action

10/10It was amazing, such a nice spot and delicious food. One thing I could mention is that they didn't let us know in advance that there was a fee for outside seating, as well as some bread and olives they brought as soon as we sat down.

10/10Every time friends or family visit me in Barcelona I take them to Mirandoalmar, and they never disappoint! The service is always friendly, professional and attentive, the food is delicious and sitting alongside the water add to the magic. Definitely a winner!

10/10The food was delicious, and the waiters were attentive, helpful, and friendly. Staff spoke English, which was helpful when my limited Spanish skills ran out. I had the Grilled Octopus and the Pannacotta, both were delightful, and served very quickly

We have been charged 3.70€ (for two people) for bread and olives which we did not ask for and did not consume. We also have been charged 8% to sit outside, and again nobody told us before, they just asked us where we would like to sit. They should let you know everything you pay before the bill arrives. Food was nice and the location it is very good It is a pity that they try to gain more without giving any option before.

4.5/10The restaurant is located in a mall which isn’t terrible but the “water view” is of the port passage so it’s just meh. We sat on the terrace which was nice, however we only found out at the bill that there is a cost of almost €8 just to sit there. They also charged us 3 portions for bread and olives, almost €6, which we didn’t ask for and weren’t give an option to decline. This wouldn’t have bothered me except my toddler was asleep before we even got to the local and slept through the whole dinner so she never ate anything. The full Fork discount only applies to food items, drinks and desserts still had a discount but it wasn’t the 50%. I got the fish and chips, which didn’t appear to be freshly cooked. The fish was tough and warm at best and the fries were lacklustre. My husband got the mussels which were supposed to be steamed but were actually cold to the touch. The service was not fantastic either. Overall I wasn’t impressed and it wasn’t even worth eating there despite the discoun

Excellent food and nice service. Sea view and a nice atmosphere - we really enjoyed our visit. The service was super fast. We ordered a sea bass and seafood tagliatele - and would recommend both, 10/10. We also ordered a panna cota but the staff brought creme brulee (but we didn’t really mind) and tiramisu- we would rate those 8/10. The wine was also nice. Will come back next time in Barcelona!
